II. Session Outline
Session Title: “Justice never sleeps”
Session At the end of the session, learners will be able to:
Objectives: a) understand justice and recognize emotions requiring respectful
responses and actions;
b) able to differentiate kinds of justice actively engage in respect-
building activities, reflecting on personal experiences.
Key Concepts:  Justice entails treating individuals and groups equitably and
impartially, without discrimination or favoritism based on
factors such as race, gender, religion, socioeconomic status, or
other characteristics.
 Justice often involves the idea of equality, where all individuals
have the same rights, opportunities, and access to resources
regardless of their background or circumstances.
 In the legal context, justice is achieved through the fair and
impartial application of laws and regulations, ensuring that
individuals are held accountable for their actions and that their
rights are protected.
 Procedural justice focuses on the fairness and transparency of
decision-making processes, ensuring that individuals have a
voice, are treated with dignity and respect, and have access to
due process.
III. Teaching Strategies

Activity: Visualizing Respect
Materials: a video showing justice
 Introduce the topic. Play a song showing respect
and let the learners analyze the video
A. Introduction  Ask, “is the justice here in the Philippines is fair?”

and Warm-Up  Share experiences related to respect in the context
of the video
 Summarize key points. Note on the board. Stress
the importance of justice in building relationships
and creating supportive communities.
Activity: Pictures on the Go!
B. Concept Materials: different pictures showing respect
15 mins
Exploration  The teacher will show different pictures that
pertain to justice is everywhere.
C. Valuing 20 mins Activity: Respect Begets Respect
Materials: a PowerPoint presentation
 The teacher will group the class into three and
each group will be given a certain topic that are all
connected with justice to be discussed in front of
the class.

 Group 1: Poem Create a poem on how we can have


a justice.

 Group 2: Poster making create a poster about


justice and explain justice in front of the class

 Group 3: Role playing create a situation about


giving justice.
Activity: Expressing Justice
Materials: Journals, writing tools, coloring materials,
cellphones for digital entries, bond paper.
 Explain the task: Creatively express thoughts on
justice .
Journal Writing 15 mins  Allow time to write, draw, or record thoughts.
 Sharing Option: Offer learners the chance to share
reflections.
 Conclude by emphasizing the critical role of
understanding and practicing respect for positive
social interactions and relationships.
