In the developer world specifically, AI has been steadily gaining prominence over the last
decade. The technology has been a part of software development and IT workflows for some
time, mostly in the form of simple code completion and task automations (Gee, 2023). Recently
there have been more advancements in the reimagining of the role of AI tools in software used
by developers or programmers. For example, there have been applications "OpenAI Codex and
GitHub Copilot that have the ability to write code without typing or thinking just to get your task
done.”
Ever since the launch of generative AI tools like ChatGPT and DALL-E, the world has
been abuzz about AI, and rightfully so. We’ve seen how AI can be used to create movie trailers,
write content, and can even pass medical, law, and business school exams. Its capabilities are
undeniably impressive and expected to have a huge impact on almost all aspects of how we live
and work (Gee, 2023). When there are generative AI tools that every person in the world uses,
even if they are not programmers, they can use these AI tools. We have seen how
programmers, developers and other individuals use it. Because of these AI tools they make the
life of a person or the people who work easier, so the impact of AI Tools on us is just that.
As a software developer, you are always looking for ways to work smarter and more
efficiently. Artificial intelligence has emerged as one of the most powerful tools to support you in
building software. AI can help automate repetitive and mundane tasks, freeing you up to focus
on more complex problems. The future is AI-assisted development, and the future is here (The
Rise of AI: A Software Developer's Best Friend, 2023). Not only software developers need AI
Tools but also programmers. While we are at our workplace we are looking for ways to make
what we do easier. Not only to facilitate but also to have work smarter and efficiently. So there
was AI because of these AI tools that are one of the most powerful tools that can be used by
those in the software field. As time goes on, AI tools will be more advanced because we are
having innovative ideas.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly disrupting the programming industry, forcing experts to
stay abreast of changes and increasingly complex technologies. By understanding how AI
affects the lives of programmers daily, software developers can better position themselves for
success in their current roles and future opportunities (Trott, 2023). AI is disrupting the field of
programming industry due to the acceleration of its innovative AI Tools or enhancement. So the
experts are constantly monitoring the release of various AI Tools in the technologies. Because
software developers are having success in their roles and having great opportunities in the
future.
In the world, the technological and industrial revolution is accelerating by the widespread
application of new generation information and communication technologies, such as AI, IoT (the
Internet of Things), and blockchain technology (Lu & Zhang, 2023). In the world of technologies
and industrial revolution AI tools are already being used. As time goes on, there are various
articles about it. Presents the background of Artificial Intelligence, how it works and how to use
it. It has become a big role in the real world because many people use it.
