Spoton coatings, Pvt, Ltd. sell their products to the business (B2B). So when job is arise
the production is done. It means they use Intermitted Production system. In Intermitted
production system they use Batch Production system. Batch production system means different
products, different sizes of products produced at different time.

Release Paper and Film:

 I. Raw material: -
Raw material is received from the stores according to production
plan. It is stored in warehouse of company. If any defects
(abnormality) found in raw material, effective communication will
be done to respected HODs. If it is ok it goes for further process.

II. Coating: -
In coating step pre-decided coating plan shall be follow for
production. Before process starts availability of resources shall be
ensured and applicable checks is done here. And now process of
coating on raw material is start on automated coating machine and
its pre-determined parameters of process is monitored. The quality
of coated material is check by QC department. If it is ok then go
for next process

III. Printing: -
For printing process pre-determined plan is follow and checks of
availability of require materials is done here. After check of all
aspect product go for printing process on printing mechine. The
printing is done on other side (non-coated side) of coated paper or
film. Printing is not done on coated side. In printing process
require logo, information, etc. is printed and after printing process
it go for QC check.

IV. Slitting: -
After printing and QC check is done the next step of production
process is slitting. In slitting process coated paper or film come on
slitting machine and as per requirement of Clint’s size or shape is
cut and organized in this step.

 V. Packaging: -
After slitting process if any defects is arise it is repaired and go for
packaging process in it following process is done
o Reel stretch rapping process
o Pallet verification and numbering
o Packing standard
o Visual inspections
o Labelling

After packaging the finished goods move to warehouse and ready

for delivery.

Description of layout
There are many types of layouts like Product layout, Process layout, Fixed position
layout, Hybrid layout, etc. Spoton coatings private limited use process layout. In this type of
layout machines are arranged according to the function or process. Spoton coatings private
limited use batch production system so process layout best suitable for their requirement.
