PARINA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
INCOME GENERATING PROJECT PROPOSAL
I. Project Summary Information: Project RISE stands with the
acronym Raising Improvements with Stakeholders’ Efforts. It is an
income – generating project through a Popularity Contest which
proceeds will be utilized for the construction of a school stage/ mini –
gymnasium.
Name of Proponent: JAY REX P. ALUPAY
Project Title: PROJECT RISE – Raising
Improvements with
Stakeholders’ Efforts
Address/ Project Site: Parina Elementary School
Beneficiaries:
Project Duration: October 2022
II. Background of the Project:
The school is our learners’ second home. It should then be
complete with all the necessary facilities, utilities and all other essential
elements that would make it conducive for learning, holistic growth and
development and a place that encourages learners to get excited in
coming to school every day.
At present, Parina Elementary School, a school with 26 enrollees,
three teachers and a school head is still lacking with many facilities that
are very much needed in facilitating quality learning processes and
experiences for its primary stakeholders – its learners. It only gained 29
points in its Child – Friendly School Survey Tool rating, zero star in its
WASH – Water, Sanitation and Hygiene in School or its WinS rating thus
making it reach a score under beginning level in School – Based
Management.
With stakeholders’ macro and micro efforts, needed facilities will
be put up and established.
For Project RISE, the community shall be primarily tapped to
extend help and support to the school. The voluntary efforts and
supports coming from all stakeholders shall ensure that by December
2022, a school stage/ mini – gymnasium for the conduct of essential
activities shall be established.
III. Objectives
Generally, PROJECT RISE aims to build a conducive learning
environment for YParina learners. Specifically, it targets to do the following:
a. establish a school stage / mini gymnasium where school activities
needing such facilities shall be conducted;
b. establish with stakeholders the needed school facilities.
IV. Mechanics
With the presence of a Memorandum of Agreement with Parents on the
conduct of the popularity contest and a Permit to Solicit from the office of the
Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office by virtue of Section 47, Article
7, Chapter IV of the Municipal Tax Ordinance No. 56, s. 2006 of the
Municipality of Calanasan, the Income Generating Project through popularity
contest is being implemented at Parina Elementary School. The agreements
made between the school and the parents have been drafted and signed
through a MOA. The decision to conduct the popularity contest has been
approved by the whole PTA Association via voting procedures.
