blend of lush landscapes, traditional festivities, and warm hospitality. With a strategic focus on
sustainable tourism, Dulong Bayan aims to contribute to the local economy while preserving its
natural and cultural treasures. Explore the charm of Dulong Bayan, where nature meets tradition
in a welcoming embrace.

1.2 Location:

Dulong Bayan in San Mateo, Rizal, is strategically positioned to offer a unique locale with easy
accessibility. The community is situated at a favorable location within the municipality of San
Mateo on the island of Luzon.

According to the 2015 Census, Dulong Bayan 1 has a population with the highest count in the
age group 5 to 9, totaling 835 individuals, while the age group 80 and over has the lowest count
with 31 individuals.

Demographic Distribution:

● Those aged 14 and below, including infants, children, and early

adolescents/teenagers, make up 32.86% (2,282) of the population.
● The economically active population, aged 15 to 64, constitutes 63.35% (4,399) of
the total.
● The elderly population, aged 65 and over, accounts for 3.79% (263) of the total
population in Dulong Bayan 1.

and motor pools are two of the municipality's most prevalent industries. Certain industrial
processes, like leather craft and kiskisan, are carried out on a smaller scale. The city also has
agricultural amenities, like poultry and pig farms.

Many manufacturing facilities are located in San Mateo. In actuality, Barangay Guitnang Bayan
2 along Kambal Road is home to a number of factories. Among them are Jolly Food Corp., First
Win Corp. (slippers), Golden Union Footwear Inc. (Evans Shoes), and San Mateo Rubber Corp.
(Nikon and Durawalk Slippers). There is also a Coca-Cola warehouse in Barangay Dulong
Bayan 2, near the intersection of Patiis Road and GSIS Street (Daang Tubo). San Mateo is well
renowned for generating gravel and sand aggregates, which are offered in hardware stores all
across the town, in addition to other building supplies.

1.7 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) / Gross Domestic Revenue Product (DGRP)

A wide range of enterprises and industries, such as motor pools, agribusiness, manufacturing,
and welding shops, contribute to the San Mateo municipality's prosperity. The industrial sector of
the municipality provides a range of commodities to meet potential regional and local demand,

and poultry farms are crucial in supplying food both locally and maybe to the surrounding

surrounding natural beauty. Its claim to fame as the "pioneer of ATV rentals" underscores

its commitment to adventure, with one- and two-seater ATV options available for

exhilarating rides along designated routes and trails.

Furthermore, UCM Adventure Park presents a diverse array of recreational amenities

designed to cater to varied interests. From expansive camping grounds and well-equipped

horseback riding facilities to inviting outdoor dining areas, the park ensures that visitors

can immerse themselves in nature's embrace while enjoying the comforts of modern

leisure. With accommodation choices ranging from cozy tents to traditional nipa huts,

Little Baguio

Manileños often seek refuge from the city heat by venturing to Baguio or Tagaytay,

craving the refreshing city-meets-province vibe. Sapinit Road emerges as a hidden gem,

boasting tall pine trees reminiscent of the summer capital. Despite its private ownership,

the road has opened its doors to the public during the pandemic, offering a serene escape

for those craving greenery and open spaces after months of confinement. Known as the

Little Baguio of Rizal, this tranquil haven provides a peaceful setting and picturesque

views of lush surroundings, allowing visitors to unwind and rejuvenate amidst nature's

embrace.
While the activities may be limited, Sapinit Road provides ample opportunities for simple

pleasures like picnics beneath the shade of the trees, leisurely bike rides, and capturing

memorable moments against the backdrop of evergreen scenery. It's a sanctuary where

city dwellers can momentarily disconnect from the urban hustle and bustle, savoring the

tranquility and natural beauty that Sapinit Road graciously offers.

Timberland and Heights

Head to San Mateo, the first tourism estate in Rizal, which is located in a mountainous
area and offers breathtaking views of Laguna de Bay, the Sierra Madre mountain range,
and Metro Manila.

The brand-new top business and recreational attraction in San Mateo Rizal is Timberland
Highlands Resort, which offers a distinctive visitor experience in a mountain
eco-development. At 250–450 meters above sea level, the estate is located in Timberland
Heights, a premium suburban townscape with amazing views around every corner. In
order to guarantee that the ecology is protected and that everyone may enjoy a

The San Mateo Church: the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Aranzazu

the Sanctuary of Arantzazu in Oñate, Spain portrays the Blessed Virgin Mary seated, the
rendition in San Mateo depicts her standing. On her feast day, apples and white
handkerchiefs are blessed and distributed to those seeking solace and healing. The San
Mateo Church stands as one of only two shrines devoted to this Marian figure, the other
being the chapel at Colegio de San Juan de Letrán in Intramuros.
