The Diocesan Red Mass is mentioned on the other page as the Mass for the start of the Judicial Year, normally held in early October in the U.S., as the Supreme
Court starts on the first Monday of October. Additionally, the Church celebrates “Blue Masses” for law enforcement and rescue crews and Mass of the Holy
Spirit for the start of an academic year.
