Greetings and welcome to our documentation portfolio, a comprehensive representation of our journey and
contributions during our community service experience at Bahay ni Maria, a heartwarming haven for the
elderly cared for by the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Fatima. This portfolio is a testament to the
impactful service we provided as part of my 1CS4 class section for the NSTP (National Service Training
Program) subject.
About Bahay ni Maria: A Heart Bigger Than a Home:
Bahay ni Maria is a compassionate refuge that provides care, comfort, and companionship to the elderly
members of our community. The dedicated Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Fatima selflessly serve these
individuals, creating an atmosphere of love, respect, and dignity for our cherished elders.

Purpose and Involvement:

Driven by the core principles of NSTP and a profound desire to contribute positively to society, I embraced
the opportunity to serve at Bahay ni Maria. My engagement in this community service initiative aimed to
bring joy, support, and a sense of belonging to the elderly residents who have enriched our lives through
their wisdom and experiences.

Goals and Objectives:

Throughout or time at Bahay ni Maria, our objectives were as follows:

1. Enhance Quality of Life:

- Goal: To improve the overall well-being and quality of life of the elderly residents at Bahay ni Maria.
- Objectives: Provide companionship, engage in recreational activities, and organize events that promote
emotional and mental well-being.

2. Foster Connection and Companionship:

- Goal: To create a sense of belonging and companionship among the elderly residents.
- Objectives: Initiate regular interactions, facilitate group discussions, and establish meaningful
relationships that combat loneliness.

3. Promote Dignity and Respect:

- Goal: To ensure that the elderly residents feel valued and respected.
- Objectives: Assist with daily routines, offer personalized care, and uphold their dignity through
attentive and compassionate support.

4. Facilitate Intergenerational Exchange:

- Goal: To encourage intergenerational interactions between the elderly and younger generations.
- Objectives: Organize events that bring together residents and local students, fostering understanding

the finest ingredients and a touch of heart, we have created these delectable confections to satiate your
cravings while supporting our community service endeavors. Every bite you take becomes a part of the care
and compassion we extend to the elderly residents at Bahay ni Maria.

Group 2: MANI - Nurturing Nutty Connections:

Group 2 takes pride in our Mani sale, offering a wholesome and nutritious snack that embodies our
dedication to the well-being of the elderly. Just as these peanuts are nurtured by the earth, our efforts are
dedicated to nurturing connections and fostering a sense of togetherness. Your support through our Mani
sale not only satisfies your appetite but also contributes to the heartwarming experiences we create at

Group 3: MANGA - Sharing the Sweetness of Caring:

Embracing the vibrant and refreshing spirit of summer, Group 3 presents our Mango sale. With each
succulent piece of mango, you taste the essence of our commitment to brightening the lives of the elderly
residents. The funds raised through our Mango sale allow us to continue creating joyful moments and
meaningful interactions that make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Group 4: CONE TIPS - Crafting a Future of Compassion:

Crafting a future of compassion and kindness, Group 4 brings you our Cone Tips sale. As you savor these
crispy delights, you are contributing to a brighter future for the elderly residents of Bahay ni Maria. With
every Cone Tip purchased, you help us shape a world where care and concern for our elders become the
cornerstone of our community.
Group Fundraising Goals for Bahay ni Maria: Making Every Visit Meaningful

In our pursuit to create lasting impact and spread joy at Bahay ni Maria, each group within our section has
set a collective fundraising goal of 1,000 pesos. These individual goals align with our shared objective of
accumulating 5,000 pesos as a section, ensuring that we have the necessary funds to make each visit to
Bahay ni Maria truly special. With dedication and a sense of unity, we are determined to reach this target
and channel our efforts into enhancing the lives of the elderly residents we deeply care for.

By raising 5,000 pesos collectively, we ensure that we have the financial means to provide nourishing meals
for the elderly residents every Wednesday and Friday in June, as well as maintain a clean and hygienic
environment through appropriate cleaning materials. Our fundraising efforts translate into smiles, comfort,
and well-being for those we serve, enriching their lives in meaningful ways. Together, we demonstrate our
commitment to the spirit of community service and the invaluable connection we share with the residents
of Bahay ni Maria.
