Myanmar has many attractive natural, cultural, and historical sites that make it a popular tourist destination. Some of the top attractions include Inle Lake known for its floating villages and gardens, the Golden Rock pagoda placed on the edge of a hill which is an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists, and delicious national dishes like mohinga noodle soup and thoke salads. Historical sites like the over 2,000 temples at Bagan which is commonly called a "sea of temples" and the Mandalay Palace built from teak wood are very interesting for tourists. The golden land, Myanmar is famous for a diverse range of indigenous cultures, natural scenery,

historic places and the kind heart of burmese people. If you visit Myanmar for the first time, there are
many things and places you must try and visit. Breathtaking natural scenery, delicious food, interesting
leisure activities, historical places and many others are the attractiveness of motherland Myanmar.

There are many beautiful natural scenery in Myanmar. Among them, in western Shan State, you will
find picturesque Inle Lake, famous for its floating villages and gardens and the unique way of life of the
local Intha people, with their living communities based entirely on the water. Kyaiktiyo Pagoda is also
one of the world's most important pilgrim sites to Buddhists. The Golden Rock that's placed on the edge
of a hill is of great importance. Not only is it a famous tourist attraction but most importantly, it holds a
high level of importance and symbolism for Buddhists as its an important pilgrimage site for them.

Speaking of Myanmar, delicious Burmese food cannot be left. Mohinga, rice noodles served in a
hearty, herbal fish-and shallot-based broth, mohinga is often called Myanmar's national dish. And a
Thoke Sone is one of most popular street foods in Myanmar. Among the varieties are Khout Swal Thoke
(noodle salad), Tofu Thoke (tofu salad), papaya salad and also rice salad. You will see a lot of portable
street food stalls in the crowded parts of Yangon. There are many places and things for leisure activities.
Drive to Ngwe Saung Beach. Upon arrival, relax and leisure at Myanmar's latest beach resort. Relaxing on
the Beach, walking to Lover's Island, doing water sports, eating Local Seafood and biking in Ngwe Saung
are relaxing leisure activities. Shopping, the most relaxing leisure activity can be done at Kalaw Market. It
is a national market with very cheap fresh vegetables but too crowded. You can buy wholesale
vegetables, cloth, scarf and other food items, snacks , and traditional food.

Myanmar’s historic places are one of the most interesting places for tourists around the world. Bagan
is commonly termed as a sea of temples by people across the world. It has the largest and densest
concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world. The best time to visit Bagan
is from November to May when there is little rainfall in the area. On the other hand, Mandalay Palace is
well known as the last royal palace of the Burmese monarchy. Mostly, the palace is designed in a
traditional architecture, built completely from teak woods. Apart from historical places there are many
other interesting places such as U Pain bridge. It is the world’s longest teak footbridge gently curves
1300 yd across shallow Taungthaman Lake, creating one of Myanmar’s most photographed sites.
Speaking of interesting places, Myeik cannot be forgotten. Myeik is a group of islands located in the
Southern region of Myanmar on the Andaman Sea. It comprises more than 800 pristine islands of
varying sizes. These untouched islands are renowned for their pristine white-sand beaches and diverse
marine life. The unparalleled diversity of flora and fauna coupled with breathtaking underwater scenes
and marine life make for an unforgettable memory.

The whole country has breathtaking natural scenery, delicious food, interesting leisure activities,
historical places and many others. Visiting Myanmar will bring you unforgettable memories for sure.
