MS WORD: INSERTING AND SHOWING COMMENTS
INSERTING COMMENTS IN WORD
• It is possible to create, delete and show comments in word. This is
done by using the Review tab.
• Comment is mainly used for reviewing the documents, make
suggestions to other people or track the issues for follow-up.
Operations
• Insert Comment
• Reply Comment
• Delete Comment
• Show Selected Comment (Reviewing the Comment)
• Show All Comments (Reviewing all Comments)

STEPS
Step 1: Select the text or paragraph that you want to add a comment to
Step 2: Click the Review Tab or Insert Tab
Using Insert Tab: Insert → Comment
(OR)
Using Review Tab: Review → New Comment
Step 3: Click the New Comments button in the button group
Step 4: Write comment in the comment box and done.

Operations : Insert, Display and Reply Comment

STEPS
1. Show all comments
2. Select the comment to remove or select all comments to delete
3. Click Delete / Delete All Comments in Document option from Review
→ Delete
4. Get the result.
