INTRIDUCTION ,
KUMARI AISIRI SHIVAKUMAR
daughter of [Link] and [Link] SHIVAKUMAR
was introduced to the BHARATHANATYAM dance world at the tender age of 5 . She first started learning
BHARATHANATYAM under guru vid. VIJAYALAKSHMI and [Link] krishnaveniamma in Mysore . Since then she has
pursued her passion in Bharathanatyam under the guidance of guru Vid. SRIDHAR JAIN and guru Vid . Dr. SHEELA
SRIDHAR .
And along with BHARATHANATYAM
She started to learn KATHAK under guru vid . Dr . NANDINI ESHWAR and
guru vid. ROHITHA ESHWAR .
With her dedication and all her guru’s blessings and guidance has moulded her as an efficient dancer .
Aisiri has performed in several stages in INDIA and in abroad .She has won several awards , competitions and received
honorable recognition for her performances .
Along with Indian Classical forms , she has attended workshops on Indian folk forms , belly dance , and kalaripayattu .
She is now studying Final year MEDICINE at Tbilisi State Medical University , Georgia .
She plans to pursue a career in MS Neurology .

- She has participated in BAL SHREE competition held in hyderabad
- She has taken part in the cultural exchange program held in new delhi in the year 2009 .
- She has won “ KISHORASHREE “ and “ NATYA MAYURI “ awards .
- She has performed in “ KARNATAKA VAIBHAVA “ a mega sound and light show held in suttur
- She has performed “ Mahishasura mardhini “ dance drama at mysore palace during mysuru dasara .
- She has performed in YUVA DASARA , MAHELA DASARA , MAKALA DASARA , SRIRANGAPATNA DASARA ,
CHAMARAJANAGARA DASARA , MADIKERI DASARA , AAHARA MELE and TORCH LIGHT PARADE
