What is recount text
Recount text is a text that telling
the reader about one story, action
or activity. Its purpose is to
entertain or informing the reader.
Or a text which retells event or
experiences in the past.
Languange Features
Using the simple past tense, past continuous tense, past
perfect tense, and past perfect continuous tense.

frequent use is made of words which link events in time, such


as next, later, when, then, after, before, first, at the same time,
as soon as she left, late on Friday, On Saturday. On Monday, On
Sunday).

Focus on a specific participant, e.g. I (the writer).

Using the conjunctions, such as: then, before, after, etc.

Trying Watersport!
Last year, Me and my family went to Denpasar to try
watersport for the first time. It located in Nusa Dua,
Denpasar. It was very fun! I really want to try it again.

First thing that I ride was Parasailing. I played parasailing


with my sister. It was kinda terrifying, but it was fun! We
can saw the beautiful view of Bali from up there. The next
thing that i rode was banana float. It wasn't that fun,
because the ride was very slow. The next thing that I tried
was Donut boat. It was the funnest ride ever! The last
thing that I tried was Jet ski. I was really happy because i
can rode that Jet ski by myself! And I rode it very fast!

It was a very exciting experienece in my life! If I had time I


really want to go back and try more fun ride there.
