How to analyst contractor’s updated work programme:

1. Set the column as following

2. Verify the % Complete column, is the Contractor update correctly based on the actual work done
on site?

3. Click on the Update Project and Reschedule uncompleted work as follows, an press OK.
4. The programme will produce the new expected finish date and total number of delays in ‘Total
Slack’ column

Note: The % Schedule and % Complete is different from original data because the use ‘duration’ as a
weightage, method to calculate the percentage. They use the formula of ‘actual duration / duration.
Since they are delay, the finish date moves from 23/11/2023 to 28/11/2023 where it has increase
the overall duration of the project thus making the percentage decrease. In order to fix this issue,
they can either use ‘Work’ or ‘Cost’ as their weightage.
