Wind Energy Generator Summary & Insights

This chapter summarizes the study, discusses the findings and conclusions, and provides recommendations. The researchers tested a small wind generator and found it could successfully produce 220v electricity and charge a mobile phone. They concluded the wind generator is effective for producing electricity wherever wind is present. They recommend improving the design for different wind conditions, making it waterproof, and able to withstand strong winds.

Chapter V

SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter will provide the summary of all the chapters with the data

gathered. Then, conclusions will be discussed based on researchers’ insights

gained regarding study findings and limitations. In addition, recommendations are

presented.

Summary

The main purpose of this device is to produce electricity out of the kinetic

wind energy and with the help of the dynamo, it will produce an alternative

electricity comparing to the generator that uses gasoline and brute force. Unlike

those big windmills that are costly, the researchers want to provide a small

version of that but can produce 220v.

Findings

The researchers undergone attempts to test the device and consider to be

successful. The first attempt was about the product being capable of producing

220v electricity and it was successful through the second attempt. The second

attempts were all about the product to light a 220v bulb and it was successful but

when tried to a bulb more than 220v, it produces a discontinuous or irregular

light. The last attempt was to charge a mobile phone and it actually did although

there is a doubt in the mind of the researchers at first because of the transfer of
17

energy from the dynamo, 12v converted into a 220v and tried to charge into a

mobile phone where it is converted 5v, that it might not work but it did.

Conclusions

The researchers concluded that the wind generator is an effective

producer of electricity. It works any time if there is a wind energy. The product is

preferable to the areas where there is always a breezy to strong winds for the

continuous wind there is, the propeller will also spin so with the dynamo. And if

the dynamo will spin, it will always produce electricity. The idea behind this

product is from Michael Faraday’s Electromagnetic Induction.

Recommendations

For further development of the study the researchers recommend:

1. Improve the products design for the compatibility of the areas where there

is a wind.

2. The products durability to water when its raining, in other words, it should

be waterproof.

3. The product’s capability to withstand the strong wind from the storm or any

weather condition.
