My name is Emmanuel Adegbola and I was born in a small village in Nigeria. I spent the
first 29 years of my life in Nigeria before migrating to the United States through the
Diversity Visa Program, otherwise known as the Diversity Lottery Program. It wasn’t a walk
in the park getting to the United States, in fact, it took me 12 years of applications to later be
successful on the 13th attempt. That is power of consistency.

Growing Up

Like most children growing up, I was told to get good grades, get a degree or a qualification
and make something of myself. So, I put my all into studying. In fact, before leaving Nigeria,
I had attained my first degree in Electrical Engineering. I also completed a few Microsoft
Certified Courses, which were to add to my employability. Funny thing, I’ve never worked a
day in my life as an Electrical Engineer!

I could say that I felt robbed, scammed, betrayed, but when you begin to consider much of
what life has to offer, the difference between strong individuals and weak individuals in the
ability to take action.

Coming to America was all about a better life. I wanted to make more of myself. I wanted
more wealth, more freedom and more security in my life.

Failure of the System

When I arrived in the United States of America, I found that more than anything, my attempt
at being employable only really allowed me to secure a job as a security guard. This meant
long hours and pay that wasn’t exactly going to secure my ideal future lifestyle. And so I

began to look at alternatives to working my security guard job. Like most people, I was still
fixated on the idea of finding a secure job, getting paid and that retiring. As it happened, a
number of friends had become Nurses and the opportunity seemed to be a little more
lucrative than being a security guard, so I jumped at the opportunity. I went on to spend the
time to learn about Nursing and then obtained my Licensed Vocational License. With that I
then registered for the Registered Nursing Program. It seemed like the logical progression
and I was keen to get my life into gear. To paraphrase Jim Rohn, for things to get better, I
realized that I would need to get better. So, I took action.

Saved by a Friend

I’d be working as a nurse for some time when I began to feel that I wasn’t altogether happy
with my situation. To recap, my original goal was to live a life that included wealth, freedom
and security. As I began to look at my life, I realized that in truth, I was beginning to become
a very unhappy person. I was not satisfied with my job. It paid me a salary, which was okay,
however I couldn’t, no matter how hard I tried, accept the truth that I was destined to spend
the next 40 years in the same job, to later become a statistic. I didn’t want to retire at age 65
feeling tired and unaccomplished. I had seen so much more for myself in my dreams.

One fateful morning after church, a friend and I had a conversation about life, one that
ultimately turned to finances. In this conversation, he explained the concept of Network
Marketing and the opportunity to build a successfully income stream was available to anyone
who was able to understand a few simple trade secrets. Intrigued, I asked for more
information about the opportunity. I was astounded to hear that there really was the potential
to make the kind of money I had only dreamed of. And, all of this would be without having
to spend bucket loads of cash and time on studying a course. Better yet, it wouldn’t involve
me committing 40 years to later retire unhappily ever after! The cherry on the cake was that I
could do all of this without making a drastic shift from my day job and with minimal
financial and time investment, and almost zero risk!

My first experience with network marketing was not ideal. I felt as though I shouldn’t have
gotten involved in this kind of business at all. Like so many other people out there looking to
create an extra income stream from home, I got all of the wrong information about how to
build my network marketing business.

Common Misconceptions About Internet Marketing

1. You need to stand outside a mall and hand out fliers to generate leads
Actually, you should never, ever, ever do that. It’s a huge time waster for you and anyone
you’re handing your fliers to. Bottom line, nobody wants to be harassed outside a mall
about a “business opportunity”.
2. You must buy lists with peoples contact information from list brokers and other
internet marketers
This is one of the quickest and easiest ways to spend money and receive zero return on
investment. Trust me. I learnt the hard way. I bought a list of leads that turned out to be
expired leads. That means that if the email addresses were not accurate, didn’t exist any
longer, or were not even real.
3. You need to call the leads you’ve bought from a list broker
We’ve covered that you shouldn’t buy a list, but even more painful is calling a list of
1000 leads and have each and every one of them hang up on you. Nobody wants to be
sold over the phone about your “business opportunity” especially when they did not opt-
in for any form of offer to start with.
4. Buy more expensive leads
Once again, do not buy any leads. If need a list of prospects, build your own. I’ll show
you how later on in this report.

My Experience That Lead to $29,324.70 Worth of Debt

If you haven’t figured it out as yet, I did all of the above. All of my newbie mistakes cost me
a sobering $29,324.70 of my hard-earned cash. Not something to easily admit or recover
from overnight.

Liberation –A System That Actually Works

Starting an online business is like starting any other business. Whether you’re starting out
with a network marketing opportunity, an affiliate opportunity, or have chosen an internet
marketing opportunity, business is business and you need a system that works. The
difference, however, is in the start-up costs. Because your business is online, the cost of
running your business is relatively low. When I began dabbling with online businesses, my
biggest mistake was not that I wasted money, but that I didn’t have the right system.

If you are a Network Marketer and reading this, and you’re part of an opportunity where the
network marketing company does not offer any kind of online marketing support, you best
run from the opportunity – FAST! Business models that offer no support don’t last long.
PERIOD. If you invest in a flawed business model, you will get burned!

How to STOP Hauling Buckets, And Start Making Money Online

If you've read "The Cashflow Quadrant" by Robert Kiyosaki (2nd in the Rich Dad Poor Dad
series), then you'd know the story of Bill and Ed.

Bill and Ed were contractors that were competing to deliver water to a village. Ed went out,
bought two buckets and started hauling water from the lake. And when the demand picked
up, he hired his sons so they could haul even more buckets of water to the village.

Bill on the other hand built a pipeline that automatically delivered fresh water to the village
24/7. What Bill created is a SYSTEM that automatically supplied his customers with the

Without a system that makes sales and money for you on autopilot, you'll always be hauling
buckets, working your butt off and spinning your wheels.

Working hard without much to show for it. Good news is that making sales on autopilot and
doing your online business either network, affiliate or internet marketing is easier than you
may think. IF you have the right system in place... You can easily double or triple your
income overnight.

Imagine this scenario;

You send traffic to a highly converting landing page and that's it. And even if you don't have
a clue about getting targeted traffic online, you leverage with a system that can drive laser-
targeted traffic for you. This could be Co-Op Advertising group that you join. More
explanation on this concept later.
You don't have to haul buckets to make money online again, it's time to start making money
and I mean REAL money online.

When you think about the most successful types of businesses out there, franchises are
typically the most common. Think about MacDonald’s. The reason why MacDonalds does
so well is because they have a proven systematic way of doing business. Everything from the
location selection for a franchise, to the specific steps taken to prepare a burger. Now, this
doesn’t mean that you can’t make a better burger that MacDonald’s, but if you were to try
and start your own burger restaurant, you would never be able to be as successful as
MacDonald’s. The brand name carries the leverage it’s been building over a long period of
time. This is the reason why franchises succeed. They use a proven system for generating
revenue.

As you’ve seen, my personal challenges have been testament to the challenges that you can
come across if you don’t have a proven and successful system. The best business systems
account for the following:

1. A solid company/structure that you can leverage

2. A set of good products to offer to your target market
3. A proven and strong system
4. In-depth trends analysis and training
5. A solid compensation model

That being said, let’s look at what a proven and successful system would look like.

Setting up your Marketing System (a.k.a the Funded Proposal)

A Funded Proposal is just another name for a marketing system. A basic marketing system is
your vehicle for generating an income online. I am not talking about just a lead capture page
or squeeze page. Imagine this scenario; you have a marketing system in place that you use to

generate leads, and right inside the system you also have access to different products you can
sell for cash-flow AND keep 100 percent for yourself.

A Funded Proposal puts you in an advantageous position where you don’t rely solely on the
tiny MLM check that your network marketing company sends to you monthly-- that is if you
have a check at all.

You can go from being an average and traditional network marketer makes less than $300 a
month (Not very motivating) to changing your life and bank account balance from this
moment.

To be able to make money online, you need to have a product to sell. Your product MUST
appeal to a problem that a large group of people has. Many successful online business
owners have created their own solutions for problems. You then offer your solution by
generating traffic through advertisements (online).

The most common problems that network marketers (or general online marketers) face are; a
lack of leads, a lack of cash-flow, they use a flawed marketing system or don’t have one, and
don’t have a leader or mentor to guide them.

Imagine you solving this problem for them by leveraging a proven marketing system? Using
this system (which includes everything you need) all you’d do is give the much needed
training away, for free, to generate leads and sponsor your leads into your business back-end.

Generating Traffic

Traffic generation involves creating offers and advertising them online to people who have a
specific problem. These people or prospects are interested in your solution, and therefore
will sign up to learn more about your offer. Typically, they would provide a name and an
email address for information that solves their problem.

Take this for instance;
You are part of a community that solves marketers’ problem as I have described above, and
you have access to a library of recorded webinars, free videos, eBooks and so on-- all part of
a collection of content that you can give away for free. I am not talking about any cheap and
useless PLR products that you typically come across in this industry. This content is high
quality material.

Your goal is to offer one or more of these products or programs away. To do this, you’ll
send traffic to the offer. In case, you are reading this and you have no clue what traffic
means; traffic are the people that visit your website. The beauty of gaining access to a
successful marketing system is being able to learn about the two methods used to of drive
traffic. In online marketing, you can either use Paid traffic or Free traffic generation
methods. Either method provides various ways to generate traffic to send to offer. In truth,
there are so many that I could not possibly cover all the ways in this report, but, I can show
you the kind of platform that you can gain access to for the education you need on each.

1. Articles—the web is a market place based on information. More and more people
looking for products and services are online looking for information on what they
want, before they make the decision to buy. Creating articles and posting them on
large sites like Squidoo and Hubpages is a quick and effective way for you to drive
traffic from valued resources to your site. The beauty of articles of this nature is that
they can be outsourced to writers for a nominal fee. Sites like Fiverr, Odesk and
Elance have created online marketplaces where you can hire a writer to create content
for your blog.
2. Twitter and tweets. Twitter is one of the most successful social media platforms today.
A micro blogging platform, limited to 140 characters, it can be used to distribute links
to your articles and offers to your website. To be able to be successful on Twitter, you
need to develop a list of followers. The simplest way to create a list of followers is to
start out my following people. A simple as that.
3. Facebook. The undisputed giant of social media, Facebook is also the easiest platform
to use because almost everyone is one it! You are able to make posts and updates,

 including links and offers to your products and services from your website. This in-
turn will drive traffic which you can then convert into paying customers.

Some of them are scams, some are legitimate. Results are generally sub-par, due to poor

You can buy targeted lists and send them unsolicited mail, and you won’t be accused of
spamming.

Direct mail is a great way to deliver a sales letter, and often works best for medium to big
ticket items.

Use postcards to drive traffic to a lead capture page.

Tips:

Test your offer with online traffic before investing in offline media. For all offline media, be
sure to use a short, memorable Domain name like [Link]

Sneaky tip: If you advertise in well-known media (such as New York Times, NBC network,
Entrepreneur Magazine, etc), you can say on your website “As seen in…”

Online Media Buying

In the Internet marketing world, “media buying” most often implies display
advertising (banners, aka image ads). However, online media buying can include pop-ups,
email, text links, video ads, widgets, and other new media.

Banner Advertising

Banners have traditionally been the biggest source of paid traffic on the Internet. Usually
sold using CPM pricing model (Cost per 1000 impressions).

Option 1:

Deal directly with website owners. Find a high-traffic site in your niche, and negotiate to put
a banner on it.

Use an ad network. (This is how to get millions of ad impressions)

Test your ad using an ad network that has PPC or small CPM commitment:

Also known as PPC (Pay per view), CPV is another pricing model used in media buying.

One of the most controversial forms of advertising on the Internet. While it can be a good
source of traffic, search engines like Google don’t want you to be able to boost your search
engine ranking by buying a bunch of links. If they find out that you are paying for links, or
participating in any type of linking scheme, they may severely penalize your website in their
rankings.

Option 1:

Deal directly with website owners. Find website in your niche, and negotiate with them for a
link. This will probably not get you in trouble, as long as it appears to be a voluntary link.

Use a text link broker. There are tons of them, just search. But keep in mind that paid links
through brokers are generally not permanent links. Therefore I do not recommend it for long-
term SEO purposes.

Option 3:

Donate to charity. Non-profit websites are reputable and often carry significant authority
with Google. Many of them will give you a link back to your site if you make a donation
(you may need to ask).

Video Advertising

Pre-rolls, mid-rolls, post-rolls, overlays, etc.

Prerolls are the most common right now. Viewers hate them, but they’ve proven to be
effective (perhaps 10-20X higher CTR than banners). Mostly sold using a CPM price model,
but you will find some PPC, PPV, and CPA.

Paid Social Media

aka “Social media sponsorship”. Similar to paid blogging, but shorter. You can pay people to
post about your product in their social pages. Some agencies are now offering services such

Paid Email

Do NOT even consider spamming or buying a bunch of email addresses. Place ads in
existing email newsletters. Solo ads are much more effective than smaller ads.

I generally get solo ads by dealing directly with other marketers in my niche. There are also
many companies that offer solo ads, but proceed with caution because the quality of the lists
can vary greatly. Some have terrible response rates, but are also very cheap, so the important
thing is ROI (and not being accused of spamming!).

Important tip: For ALL endorsements and sponsorships (via video, blog, social media,
email, etc) make sure you follow the FTC guidelines. Paid endorsements/sponsorships must
be disclosed.

Expired Domains

Expired domains with existing traffic can be a good source of traffic. However, it can be
difficult to monetize that traffic, unless the domain fits your niche perfectly. An alternative to

redirecting the traffic would be to build mini-sites on expired domains and monetize the
niches that they originally served.

This has not been an exhaustive list. There are many other types of paid advertising you can
do online such as…

- paid directories
- paid classified ads
- Ebay listings (for physical products)
- affiliate driven traffic (We’ll be covering this in depth)
- running your own CPA offers
- countless other advertising opportunities

I can go on and on but I hope you get the gist. Once again, the problem is not traffic
but converting the traffic to leads and eventually to customer.

STEP 3: Converting Traffic into Leads

Once you have a good marketing system in place, traffic to lead and lead to sales
conversions should not be problem at all. Remember this principle, ALWAYS lead with a
FREE or Low Cost offer and have high ticket program back-end.

This is where the magic really begins to happen. Your leads then begins to get introduced to
your ideas and of product that you are selling. This is typically done by email, or a webinar
that the prospect is invited to. In basic terms, your well-written Autoresponder follow-up
emails will need to convince them of that your product or service for sale is the solution to
their problem. This process also separates the people that opted into you mailing list and that
don’t have an interest in buying anything, from those that actually want to spend money.

A quick example of how to convert traffic into leads:

You website needs to have wording that your target market can relate to. In our example, our
target market has been struggling to create a blog and therefore an income online. So our
goal with our wording is to explain why the blogging system really is the simplest way for
them to become truly successful, without the technical aptitude required. Your wording must
also have a strong call-to-action. This basically where you tell your prospect what to do next
to get the blogging system, i.e. add to cart, or signup for a free report on how easy it is to
blog.

STEP 4: Enrolling People into Your Funded Proposal

This step is done naturally. No pushing, no chasing and no selling. When people see what
they will enjoy by being part of your offer, then it becomes irresistible to join. This is called
“natural selling”.

STEP 5: Sign Up Distributors into Your Network Marketing Business or Sell Them
Your Product.

After you have established a relationship based on trust and credibility with your leads, It
becomes easier to sell to them. Also, at this point of your strategy, your will most likely
have sold products to some already. In these cases, you can then UPSELL these clients to
better and better, high ticket products. It’s a well know business truth that its always easier to
Upsell your current customers than finding new ones. This is where having good converting
funnel works more than you could imagine.
