DAY 1
Today marked the beginning of my practice teaching journey, and the
mixture of excitement and nervousness was palpable. Stepping into the
school, I felt a surge of responsibility and eagerness. The first meeting was
allocation of task, observation of coop teacher and meeting with them.
DAY 2
The second day brought a deeper understanding of the classroom
dynamics. The Grade 9 students' individual personalities are
beginning to emerge, and my connection with them is slowly
strengthening. I was able to observe them and I see the sense of joy in
witnessing the spark of curiosity in their eyes
DAY 3
Today immersed me in a whirlwind of school activities as a practice
teacher. From the morning assembly to assisting in activities of the
student, the day was a vibrant tapestry of learning and engagement.
Witnessing the students' enthusiasm in various activities was
invigorating. It's clear that education extends beyond the classroom, and
I'm eager to explore the myriad ways it shapes young minds.
DAY 4
Double digits! A milestone worth acknowledging. As days passed by,
I have been familiar with the daily rhythm of the school. Lessons are
becoming more refined, and I'm learning to adapt to the unique needs of
each student. The camaraderie among fellow educators is uplifting, and I
am beginning to feel more integrated into the school community.
DAY 5
As the days progress, the connection with my students deepens. Their
trust is a precious gift, and I'm finding ways to make learning more
interactive and enjoyable. The challenges persist, but there's a growing
resilience within me. The daily victories, no matter how small, fuel my
passion for teaching.
DAY 6
I closely observed students' levels of participation and engagement in
class activities. This included their willingness to answer questions,
contribute to discussions, and collaborate with peers.
DAY 7
On this non-class day, I embarked on a field study workbook, an
opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting. It was
a day of self-directed learning, exploration, and practical application of
concepts learned in the classroom.
DAY 8
Today's experience as a mentor in “sabayang pagbigkas” underscored
the importance of patience, adaptability, and personalized guidance.
Witnessing the students' progress and their enthusiasm for refining their
pronunciation skills was immensely rewarding. As I continue in my role
as a practice teacher, I look forward to refining my mentoring techniques
and supporting students on their journey to effective and confident
communication.
DAY 9
As I approach the examination room, a mix of anticipation and
nervous energy courses through me. Today marks a significant milestone
in my journey as a practice teacher - the day when I, as the watcher, observe
and evaluate the students during their examinations. It's a responsibility
that I have been preparing for diligently, and now the moment has arrived.
DAY 10
During the classes, I adopted an attentive yet unintrusive presence. I
positioned myself in a way that allowed me to observe the students without
disrupting the natural flow of the classroom.
DAY 11
The day commenced with the practice teacher introducing the
activity., Once the activity was explained, my role transitioned to
facilitating group formation. It was interesting to observe how the students
chose their group members, considering strengths, areas of expertise, and
interpersonal dynamics.
DAY 12
Examining the social dynamics, I paid attention to how students
interacted with one another. Observing group activities, discussions, and
collaborative projects provided insights into their interpersonal skills and
teamwork.
DAY 13
Today, I am guiding high school students in their competition. I
familiarized myself with the details of the competition. Understanding its
format, rules, and objectives was essential in providing effective guidance
to the students.
DAY 14
Taking note of how students absorbed and processed information, I
aimed to identify different learning styles within the classroom.
Recognizing whether students responded better to visual aids, hands-on
activities, or verbal explanations informed my teaching approach.
DAY 15
Today marked a fulfilling day in my role as a practice teacher as I
assumed the responsibility of guiding students through their lesson. The
opportunity to provide support, encouragement, and facilitate the learning
process was both rewarding and challenging.

Concluding the day dedicated to the field study workbook was
immensely satisfying. This student-free day became a canvas for practical
application, reflective learning, and a reminder of the intrinsic
connection between the classroom and the dynamic world beyond it.

Today, I assumed the responsibility of guarding coop teachers, a role
that required vigilance, support, and collaboration. As a practice teacher,
this experience presented an opportunity to contribute to the well-being and
growth of my fellow educators, fostering a sense of unity within the
teaching community.

to see students who had become not just learners but companions on
this educational journey was undoubtedly one of the most
challenging aspects of this experience. As I step into the next phase of
my career, I carry forward the lessons learned and the memories
created during these weeks of practice teaching.
