Slickline Operation – Bridge Plug Installation

1. Hold safety meeting on site with all relevant personnel involved in the operation. Review applicable
JRA and job procedures.
✓ Ensure Slickline has performed a 2.2”GC or higher prior to Plug setting Run.

2. WellScience specialist will carry-out surface load-test on the Emst tool. (Load test must be
witnessed by the Well Intervention Supervisor).
3. Below is the expected and acceptable 50% nominal shear force required result Emst tool.

4. M/U 2.125” Emst (Emst) + Sleeve + Bridge plug as per tool string diagram.
✓ Ensure BHA measurements are recorded. It’s the supervisor and WellScience specialist
responsibility to confirm BHA sizes and update BHA drawing.
5. Program Emst tool for PIIP setting. Ensure travel time programmed includes the makeup time, PCE
test time and travel time and slide same into the lubricator.
Note:
6. M/U lubricator on QTS and pressure test to 300 and 3000 psi for 5/10mins respectively.
7. RIH Bridge plug BHA on slickline @ 90ft/min to xxxxft/TH (TBC), correlate and position at setting
depth xxxxft/TH.
✓ Record PUW, hanging weights close to setting depth.
8. Monitor weight indicator, to see when Emst timer elapse and tool activates (hanging weight may
rise during setting sequence and drops after completed setting sequence).
✓ record new PUW, hanging weights.
9. P/U setting tool assembly to confirm release from plug. Compare Pick-up weight with the initial
weights recorded.
10. RIH BHA slowly, tag top of Plug, record depth.
✓ Observe for drop in RIH weight.
11. POOH setting tool assembly to surface. Close XMT valves.
12. Rig Down all Slickline PCE and equipment completely from well.
