Silver Wire Inlay Techniques

The document provides instructions for creating wire inlays. It describes drawing a layout in pencil, cutting a track for sterling silver wire using half cut xacto knives or hacksaw blades. The wire is prepped by drawing it through sandpaper, then set into the track by hand and tapped gently with a hammer. Excess wire is filed flush and holes are drilled slightly smaller for wire pieces cut with angled edges to secure them like nail heads. The surface is sanded smooth with 400 grit sandpaper.
