About pattern
This pattern is made for those, who knows basics
of crochet, knows what Magic Ring, Invisible
Decrease and Increase is, and how to sew details
together.
If You don’t know it, watch Youtube videos first,
or learn about crocheting, and try to crochet
basic stitches and sew some crocheted details
together!
This pattern is written in American terms:
MR - Magic Ring
sl st – Slip Stitch
sc - Single Crochet
invdec - Invisible Decrease
inc – Increase
dc- Double Crochet
Materials You'll Need:
1. Dark grey (or black), light grey and white
yarn or yarn of your choice (I used „Alize
Cotton Gold” yarns. 55% cotton 45% acrylic.
3.53oz-361yds (100g-330m))
2. Crochet hook (I used 1,5 mm hook, but it is
smaller than size what is written on yarn
label. They recommend 2-4mm. Use which is
better for your fingers)
3. Stuffing
4. Yarn Needle
5. Scissors
6. Pins
7. Safety eyes or button-eyes (I used 8 mm
safety eyes and 8mm triangle safety nose)

8. Black yarn thread or mouline thread to make
the raccoon’s eyebrows and nose line (I used
mouline thread)
Eye spots. 2pc:
Row1: (dark grey yarn) MR, single crochet 6
times. (6)
Row2: 2inc, sc. Repeat 2x (10)

Sl st. Fix and leave the thread to sew the
spots to the head.
Insert the safety eyes into the Row2 places
which are marked on the next picture. Don’t use

(6) Don’t pull the ring tightly closed. We will
insert the safety nose inside it.
Row2: 2inc, sc. Repeat 2x (10)

nose detail to the raccoon face. Insert the
safety nose inside the MR as on next picture,
pull tightly, fix and hide the beginning

I marked the places where the safety eyes and
the nose must be. Eyes – Row14. Space between –
9sc. Nose - Row17 in the middle between eyes.
Insert and fix the eyes and nose inside the head
as on next picture...

Sew the eye spots to the head first. Use the
back loops only! The nose must be superposed to

Take the both ear sides, superimpose one over
another (front sides must be outside the ear)
and crochet sl st around the both details (use
the back loops only), fix and leave the thread
to sew the ear to the head. Make another one.

Sew the legs to the body... You can make it in
two different ways – sitting as on next two
pictures, or standing as on 3th picture...I chose
