UNIT-II Management and Market Appraisal of Projects 8 Hours
Stakeholders and their focus, Types of Appraisal, Technical Appraisal: Factors
considered in technical appraisal, Management Appraisal, Market Appraisal of
Projects.
UNIT-III Economic Appraisal of Projects 8 Hours
Economic Appraisal Methods, Economic Appraisal of Mutually Exclusive Projects’,
Economic Appraisal of Foreign Investment Projects, Effect of Inflation in Economic
Appraisal of Projects, Non-economic Justifications for Projects.
UNIT-IV Financial Analysis 8 Hours
Cost of project and means of financing; financial feasibility analysis, major cost
components; profitability and financial projections: cost of production; project
appraisal parameters of financial institutions; financing options for a new venture.
UNIT-V Project Reports 8 Hours
Preparation of project report, Contents of Detailed Project Report- background,
objectives, justification, features, cost, sources of funds, Management and Organization
of the Project, implementation details, Results of the Project.
