Autodesk Inventor Installation Guide – Windows

Download Autodesk [Link] from ISTF website under Software category.

Add below entry in your host file.

# C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

[Link] comp48

Save it.
Extract Installation File.

Right Click on setup file and click on Run as administrator.


Click on Install.
Click on I Accept and Next.

Click on Autodesk Inventor Professional 2018.


Click on Install.

Installation in process, it will take some time. (Approx. -30 Minutes)


Click on Finish.

After installation you need start the Autodesk Inventor Professional 2018 from start
menu.

Click on Use a Network License.


Select Single License Server.

Enter Server Name: comp48

Click on Done.

Click on OK.
