Good morning, madam. My name is Tan Di Zhou, and I am a recent Business


Administration graduate from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management
and Technology, Penang Branch. Through my coursework, I gained experience in
accounting, IT, management, and marketing. I also completed my internship at
Penang Institute of Technology. After completing my internship, I gained a year’s
work experience at Dell as an accounting executive, preparing the financial
statement and product costing. I'm excited to apply these skills and experience to
your organisation.

How do you see yourself in the next 5 years

In five years, I would see myself at Epson Company contributing to the team
and bringing additional value to the company. According to my research for
your company, I found out that your company is now expanding and growing
aggressively. I believe your company in the future will offer me opportunities
for professional development, and I want to grow together with the company.
So, in the next 5 years, I plan to master my role as an account executive and
ready to take on additional responsibilities for various projects.
How did you hear about the position

I heard about this position from an employee in the People Development department
and I was a friend to her during my secondary school. She told me I should apply for
this position because she felt that the job are very suitable for me" Once she sent me
the job application, I found out that she was right. I could say that the job suits me well
when I see through the job requirement and job descriptions.

Why do you want to work here

l interested in this position is bcs this position is suitable for me. l am believed that l can
betteru se my skill like financial analysis, data analysis and so on. I can use my skill to
do many task such as preapared financial statements, product costing and others.
Why should we hire you

I understand this position needs to deal with a lot of financial statements and data. But I
was very confident I could handle this job because I was proficient in accounting and
Microsoft Office, which can effectively prepare financial statements and product costs.
This is the first reason you should hire me. The second reason is that I have work
experience at Dell, so I know about the job procedure and how to do it without too much
manager guidance.

What are your strength and weakness

Strength

My strength is I can learn new things or skill very fast. For example, during internship
my manger appointed me to do the task about financial recordkeeping. But I never done
before, so I ask my senior to teach me how to do it. After he teach one time, I found that
I able to handle the task that appointed by manager. As a result, I completed the task
appointed by the manager. I am confident this ability will make me a great asset to the
company.

Weakness

When it comes to weakness, I struggle to say no to others. So I've learned to prioritise


and manage my commitments more effectively. I now assess my own workload and
schedule before agreeing to take on new tasks. This approach helps me strike a
balance between helping others and managing my own workload more effectively. This
effort is continuing, and I am hopeful that I will bravely say no to others.
