Sub: Enterprise’s information with respect to the Micro, Small and medium Enterprise development Act.2006

Dear Sir / Madam,

This is in reference to declaration in regards to Micro /Small/Medium undertaking as per the MSMED Act.
Enterprise engaged in the manufacture production of goods or rendering/ providing of services are to be
classified in to the Micro small and medium based on below criteria and certification from the respective Govt.
Authority.

Declaration :

We confirm that :

a) We are the supplier within the definition of section 2 (N) of the MSMED Act……….. (YES/NO)

b) We are a micro / small / medium enterprise under the MSMED Act.2006” (Yes/No) (please strike off
whichever status is not applicable).

c) Further with respect to micro and small enterprise. The MSME Act. defiance the term “Supplier” as an
enterprise and confirm that I/we have filed a memorandum with authority specified by the respective estate
government. The detail of Certificate issued are as follows :-

Important Notes :-

I. Definition of Micro, Small and Medium enterprise is given below :

Classification of enterprise engaged in:


Manufacturing Sector
Micro Enterprises Investment in Plant & Machinery does not exceed twenty five lakh rupees
Small Enterprises Investment in Plant & Machinery more than twenty five lakh rupees but
does not exceed five crore rupees
Medium Enterprises Investment in Plant & Machinery more than five crore rupees but does
not exceed ten crore rupees
Service Sector
Micro Enterprises Investment in equipment does not exceed ten lakh rupees:
Small Enterprises Investment in equipment more than ten lakh rupees but does not exceed
two crore rupees
Medium Enterprises Investment in equipment more than two crore rupees but does not exceed
five crore rupees

II. The term enterprise stated in the above paragraph includes proprietorship, Hindu undivided family,
Association of person, Co-operative society. Partnership firms, undertaking or any other Legal entity.

III. Please provide the copy of Certificate issued by the respective authority as above.

IV. Certified true copy of the permission to sign the above declaration (Authorization of the Board in Case of
Company /Authority letters for other type of entities) needs to be submitted with the declaration.
