1. Most of the verbs take letter “-s”.
He works Example: Work = Works
She works
It works 2. Verbs ending in “sh/ch/o/x/ss” add “-es”.

Teach = Teaches Wash = Washes Go= Goes Fix=Fixes Kiss=Kisses

They work 3. Verbs ending in a consonant + “y”. Drop “y” and add “-ies”
Example: Fly=Flies / Study=Studies

Note: We don’t use do or does with be.
