Chapter 2 Assessment Rubric

CHAPTER 2 RUBRIC
THE FINAL SECOND MASTERY EXAMINATION

Areas of Assessment Points Earned
Minimum Number of Literature and Studies. (Area 1) (30 Points)
Minimum number of studies and literature specified by the teacher were adhered. (10-15
Minimum)
Structure of Body. (Area 2) (30 Points)
Follows the specified structuring: thematic (non-experimental) & per category (experimental). Proper
technique was utilized. Coherence of the paragraphs were evident.
Citation Blending. (Area 3) (30 Points)
Uses the blend metaphor in citing various studies and literature excellently and flawlessly and/or
structures the citations from latest to older manner clearly.
Content. (Area 4) (30 Points)
The cited materials are relevant to the problem under investigation and a representative of the topic
(e.g. variables, issues). Ideas were cited clearly (i.e. summarized/paraphrased). Connection to the
problem was explicitly established either separately or as a whole. Seminal works were also cited.
Citation and References. (Area 5) (30 Points)
Follows proper APA citation (both 6 th & 7th Ed.) with explications and referencing. Proper matching
between in-text citation and reference list was evident. Quality of sources cited was manifested and
recency was also considered.
Grammar/Technicalities. (Area 6) (30 Points)
Grammar and sentence construction are properly observed in all components of research. Basic
technicalities provided were followed religiously.
NOTE: To compute the final score earned: Raw Score / 180 * 100 = FINAL SCORE _______/180
