WELCOME MESSAGE
The Magnificent Baling 100 (TMB100) was founded as a trail
running event to promote Baling as one of the eco-tourism
locations. The Baling District is an administrative district in
south-eastern Kedah, Malaysia. The second largest district in
Kedah, located about 110 km from Alor Setar, it borders Perak and
Betong, the southernmost town of Thailand.
This year, for the 1st edition TMB100 will involve 10KM, 25KM,
50KM and 100KM categories. Participants will run through the
beautiful trail of Baling which includes running through some of
the iconic landscapes, paddy fields, traditional Malay villages,
orchards, jungles and wading through refreshing rivers. This race is
a fast course with fewer technical sections and caters to beginners
in trail running.
Unlike the 100KM category which goes through a magnificent
route and requires a bit of technicality at the beginning of the
race.

RUNNERS ARE REQUIRED TO PRESENT :

3. Confirmation slip with QR code by phone or printed (Compulsory)
4. IC / Passport copy (if necessary)
5. Collecting on behalf is allowed to category 25KM and 10KM only
(kindly bring along their slip and IC copy)

TRANSFER
1. BIB transfer can only be done during race pack collection with an admin charge of
RM50.00.
2. Upgrade and downgrade of category not allowed
(except with the organiser consent).
3. No size exchange for Event Tee & Finisher Tee.

• Optional items can be in softcopy/hardcopy just in case further verification is

presented together during the mandatory item check.

MANDATORY ITEMS
THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE COMPULSORY FOR ALL RUNNERS.
INCOMPLETE ITEMS WILL RESULT IN DNS ( DO NOT START )
1 HEADLAMP (100KM & 50KM ONLY)
Test your headlamp at night prior to the event to
make sure it provides enough light to see the track and the
course markings. Make sure batteries are new or fully charged
and you have enough battery capacity / spare batteries.
2 BLINKER (100KM & 50KM ONLY)
Preferably red/blue/yellow color. To be attached at the
backpack and visible to traffic.
3 HYDRATION BAG (MIN 500ML)
Water bladder or bottles with capacity to carry 1 Litre of water
4 MOBILE PHONE
Mobile phone coverage over the course varies from excellent to
non-existent when in deep forest. Maxis and Celcom work on
approximately 50% network reception along the course.
5 WHISTLE
6 BASIC FIRST AID KIT
Recommended but not limited to Sterile dressings, Band-aid,
Antiseptic wipes,Oral Rehydration Salt, Painkillers, Allergies
medication ( if any)
7 FOLDABLE CUP
Foldable cup for drinking at water station.
( No paper Cups will be provided at all area )
8 ENERGY GEL & SUFFICIENT FOOD
9 EMERGENCY BLANKET (100KM & 50KM ONLY)

SPECIAL NEED BAG
1. The service is offered to 100KM participant only and will be issued during
Race Pack Collection.
2. Special Need Bag service is available at CP1 Resort Gua Gendang and
CP7 Simpang Teluk Teduri.
