Vocabulary:

Town:
A place where people live and work, containing many houses,
shops, places of work, usually larger than a village but smaller
than a city

Baker’s:
A store in which baked goods such as cake and bread are made
and sold.

Bank:
A place where you can put and save your money in.
Police Station:
The office of the police in a certain area.

Post Office:
An office where mail is received and sorted.

Chemist’s:
A place where we can buy medicine.
Fire Station:
A place where firefighters stay and where fire trucks and
things to fight fire are kept.

Bus Station:
A place where buses stop for passengers.

Museum:
Building where objects of historical, scientific, or artistic
interest are kept.

Train Station:
A place where we can take the train and buy the tickets.
Car Park:
A space in which we keep our car safe.

Cinema:

A theatre where people pay to watch films.
