Solving Linear Equations Guide

This document discusses solving linear equations. It begins by reminding the reader that any operation performed to one side of an equation must also be performed to the other side. It also notes that when equations involve fractions, both sides can be multiplied by the least common denominator to clear the fractions. The document then provides examples of solving various linear equations and asks the reader to solve additional practice problems, providing the answers.

SOLVING LINEAR EQUATIONS

 Recall that whatever operation is performed on one side of the equation must also be performed on the other.
 Remember that when an equation involves fractions you can multiply both sides of the equation by the least
common denominator and proceed as usual.
