II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Pang-alaalang Paaralang Severina M. Solidum is a complete
elementary institution that offers Kindergarten-Grade Six education. The school
was established four decades ago. Its structures such as the dilapidated steel
gate and part of the weather-beaten concrete fence along the national road
collapsed. The pupils, teachers, school buildings and other government
properties are not secured.
The poor condition of the school gate and fence has made easier for
the residents to enter the school premises. One unfortunate scenario occurred
when a resident with mental health issues and unruly behavior went inside the
school and caused panic to everyone. Aside from the residents, stray animals get
inside the campus and disturb the classes.
It is stated in DepED’s mission to provide safe and motivating
environment for our clientele and it is but proper to give high priority in the
construction of gate and concrete fence the soonest possible because the safety
of the pupils and stakeholders are at risk.
A. PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
GOALS- the project aims to construct gate and concrete fence along the
national road for the security and safety of the pupils, teachers, stakeholders,
school buildings and other government properties.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To secure the safety of the pupils, teachers, and other stakeholders,
inside the school campus.
2. To improve the security and safety of KALAHI building and other
classrooms.
3. To be free of intruders and stray animals.
4. To provide proper entrance of vehicle especially the firetruck and
ambulance in going inside the school campus.
5. To prevent untoward accident.
B. PROJECT COMPONENTS/EXPECTED OUTCOMES/TIMETABLE
1. Secured the safety of the pupils, teachers and other stakeholders
in the school premises.
2. Improved the safety of KALAHI and other classroom buildings.
2. Minimized the entry of people inside the school campus.
3. Prevented untoward accident.
4. Enhanced the physical aspects of the school
5. Put-up wide and sturdy gate and spans of concrete fence
III. BUDGET
Budgetary requirements to be prepared by the Local Government Unit
(LGU)
IV. PROJECT MANAGEMENT/ MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The LGU, BLGU, principal and the PTA will take part in the monitoring
and inspection of the project to make sure that the approved Program of Works
and the construction materials stated are being followed and to resolve issues
right away during the project implementation.
V. PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY
For project’s sustainability, the principal and the school PTA will
take charge in the maintenance of the said project. A portion of PTA funds will
be allotted for its maintenance.
VI. RISK MANAGEMENT
1. Lack of PTA funds
2. Flood overflowing on the road during rainy season.

II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Department of Education mandated the improvement of school
facilities to aid in safe and sound environment for learners. However, Pang-
alaalang Paaralang Severina M. Solidum was established long time ago, and that
was 42 years this June 2023, time can take its toll on the school buildings, RP-
US Building, FVR Building, ROCO Building, DECS Building. The buildings with
a total of 6-classrooms need to be repaired its roofing, ceilings, window frames,
jalousies, doors, and gutter.
School buildings and infrastructures are exposed to all weather
conditions like: sun, rain and other elements. Immediate repair is necessary to
maintain the good condition of the structures as well as their conduciveness to
learning and teaching while prolonging their life spans.
A. PROJECT GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
GOALS- the project aims to repair the dilapidated 6-classrooms of Grades
I-VI.
OBJECTIVES:
1. To replace the roofing, ceiling, window frame and jalousies, gutter
and doors of 6-classrooms
2. To enhance the physical aspect of classrooms through repainting.
3. To make the learning environment conducive to both teaching
and learning.
B. PROJECT COMPONENTS/EXPECTED OUTCOMES/TIMETABLE
1. Repaired the classrooms of Grades I-VI
2. Improved the physical facilities of the school.
3. Enhanced the teaching and learning environment for a better
performance of pupils and teachers.
4. Secured other government furniture and equipment.
III. BUDGET
Budgetary requirements to be prepared by the Local Government Unit
(LGU)
IV. PROJECT MANAGEMENT/ MONITORING AND EVALUATION
The LGU, BLGU, principal and the PTA will take part in the monitoring
and inspection of the project to make sure that the approved Program of Works
and the construction materials stated are being followed and to resolve issues
right away during the project implementation. For evaluation, the actual
accomplishment of the projects will determine how far the project address the
current situation of the school.
V. PROJECT SUSTAINABILITY
To sustain conducive learning environment for the learners and
teachers, the school head will allocate an amount yearly for the maintenance of
school building from school MOOE.
