Problem and Its Background

This chapter contains the introduction, statement of the problem, scope


and delimitation, assumptions, significance of the study, conceptual
framework , and definition of terms.

Introduction

In a student busy schedule , time management may be quite helpful


order to manage their everyday lives and fun in their academic assignments
on [Link] makes sure that students are well-prepared , organized and
focused. Although it can increase achievements ,this is a talent that students
must acquire and hone. The success of the students was significantly
influenced by time management. It’s better academic improvement for those
students who have excellent time - management abilities are more likely to
put aside enough time to complete their homework. Higher marks result from
their greater accomplishment on tests and assignments. Good time
management avoids the need to rush through work at last minute , which can
greatly reduce stress levels. As time management in continuation, students
may handle their
academic obligation and more confidence and comfort. Students who are
good at managing their time can set aside time for socializing , interest or in
relaxation in addition to their studies. This balance improves overall health
and protects from stress. Teachers and students struggle to balance their
personal time with their professionals obligations. Include the relaxation and
tasks as well. Today, especially among Filipinos, we have the issue of
forgetting that every second spent jogging is valuable. Today, we’re talking
about ways to develop an appreciation for time passing. Because, as you may
have noticed, many people arrive late to class for reasons of their own. Time
management is critical in determining academic performance at all levels of
education, from elementary to college and beyond. They can boost their
output as Holy Trinity School of Science and Technology students. Breaking
projects down into smaller, achievable steps and setting time limitations for
each activity aids in maintaining focus and reducing distractions. Most grade
11 and grade 12 ABM students at Holy Trinity School of Science and
Technology are aware of how to manage their time and responsibilities.
According to them, they manage their time by planning how they will complete
their tasks, setting boundaries for their behavior, and organizing the tasks that
have been assigned to them in a proper manner. However, despite all of their
efforts, some students still seem to put their work and worry about how they
will handle their next tasks. The majority of time management research points
to a favorable effects on students’ academic achievement, although other
studies have found potential drawbacks. Students who feel too much
pressure, lack the requisite abilities and concentrate, or have a poor study
habits. For reference, scientists contend that the impact of time. To effectively
manage and priorities your time so that you can complete tasks, goals, and
activities, use time management. By planning, organizing, and controlling your
daily tasks, it aids in increasing productivity, lowering stress, and enhancing
your time. Even for the students in grade 11 and 12, the ability to manage
their time well can have a significant impact on their academic performance.
By adopting efficient time management , students may define priorities for
their tasks, allocate appropriate time for studying and maintain a balance
approach to their academic commitments. Good time management, deadline
adherence and perceived effectiveness are all favorably connected with good
planning and prioritization skills. In Tayuman, Binangonan, Rizal Province the
Philippines, there is a school called Holy Trinity School of Science and
Technology. The school uses a variety of different teaching methods, just like
many other schools across the nation. The School unit itself has developed
how to have a school year with various types of teaching and non teaching
people. In the end, effective time management is a complicated ability that
affects many facets of your life, from stress reduction and personal growth to
productivity and goal achievements. It’s a necessary talent for happiness and
success.
Statement of the Problem

This research aims to answer the following questions:

1. How do you maintain a balance between life and your profession?


2. How can you cut down on distractions?

Scope and Delimitation

This study focuses on the impact of time management that practices


on
accounting business management students at Holy trinity School of Science
and Technology. The goal of this study is to investigate how students can
manage their time between various tasks, school works, and the impact it has
on them. This research seeks to comprehend the reasons and implications of
poor time management particularly as working student. The researcher’s
target respondents are primarily ABM students.

Assumptions

It is assumed that:

1. ABM students and teachers are affected by time management.


2. The purpose of Time Management is to see if students can manage their
time while juggling multiple schoolwork’s tasks.
3. The usage of Time Management can help with the consequences and
causes of having a bad time, specially for working students.

Significance of the study

If you manage your time well, you can reach your goal more rapidly. In
addition, time management enable us to balance our personal and academic
obligations. Furthermore, this lessens the possibility of burnout and fatigue,
which modern students occasionally attribute to stress or, worse, despair.
Being able to manage our time effectively not only makes life as students a
little bit easier, but it can also be advantageous for our learning in general.

Learners: This study shows that when students set our time for studying and
other educational pursuits, they are able to take in important more easily and
remember it better.

Teachers: This study help teachers on how they will manage their time and
on what we need to focus specially in works.

School: This study help the organization of school what is the impact of time
management or schedules in students.

Parents: This study help them to perceive what we are doing for, and how to
learn or apply time management in our lives.

The conceptual framework for the current investigations is displayed in Figure
1. Age , sex , grade , strand , and the impact of time management on the
academic performance of grade 11 and grade 12 students in ABM strand in
Holy Trinity School of Science and Technology Inc. In terms of : grade , level ,
section , and students participation in class.

The process demonstrates and discusses how the respondents are utilised in
the research , questioners , interview and observation . In this part we will
determine the possible outcome of the research based on the process
dedicated.

The output is the result of the input and process of the study and we will
based in figuring out the problem and the advice we will give as a student.
