PART 1

INTRODUCTION:

A very pleasant morning everyone! I am Teacher Hannah Grace F. Eata, and I will be
with you through the start and finish of the opening ceremony.

I can see that we are all highly enthusiastic about today’s various sports event. But the
best part about today is, that we get to see friendship, teamwork and most importantly, we get to
see the sports-man spirit that we, the students, teachers, and parents of Castillejos Elementary
School, have inside us!
Now, I know we can’t wait any longer, as the energy and excitement is surging
everywhere, so everyone, welcome to the Sports Day 2023!

NATIONAL ANTHEM & PRAYER:

To begin with, may I request everyone to please rise for the singing of the National
Anthem to be conducted by Ma’am Roselyn R. Esconde, our School MAPEH Coordinator to be
followed by the prayer to be led by Ma’am Krystyn Mae A. De Leon, Grade II Adviser.

OPENING MESSAGE:

To ignite our fighting spirit, let us hear an inspiring opening message to be given to us by
our cheerful Master Teacher and President of the Teachers Association, Maam Carla A. Escobar.

Thank you Maam Carla.

OATH OF SPORTMANSHIP:

Our esteemed school has greatly grown through the years even at the time of pandemic
and now we have more students, hence, more talents to discover and, in extension, more athletes
to develop. With that being said, in every sports competition it all starts with oath. To lead us for
the oath of Sportsmanship, may we call on our student athlete Nathania Rhian De Guzman.

LIGHTING OF TORCH:

We will now witness the ceremonial lighting of torch to be led by our student-athlete,
Chris Adam Tiglao.

To formally commence the Sports Day and to give his words of encouragement, may we
call on our highly esteemed and benevolent school head of Castillejos Elementary School Mr.
Mario M. Celis.
Let us give him a warm resounding applause.
ANNOUNCEMENT AND REMINDERS:

At this juncture of our program may I call on Mr. Carlito D. Carreon, School Sports
Coordinator for the presentation of officiating officials for various sports events, and to give us a
few reminders and announcements Let us give him a round of applause.

Now, we have come to the end of the opening program, and now comes the event proper.
Just like what is said in Hunger Games “May the Odds be on Your Favor. God bless, Good luck
and Be Safe!
