The project tenders an alternative through the film club, which would encourage students to
watch films differently, it also would allow them to unfold individual and critical thoughts. In
that way, the students could question the script, the cinematography, the soundtrack, etc., or
discuss why they liked it. In addition, this possible initiative could help students to interact by
sharing their opinions and acknowledgment. The film club is not mandatory, it is for film lovers
or people interested in the subject. The project wants to encourage people to join the club but
with the magic of appreciating the films, not watching them only for entertainment.

The Film Club is the project and in the film club, it is needed a tool like cult films to generate
three important spheres, which are: social, cognitive, and emotional.
8. What is a cult film?
There is not a particular meaning to it, but these movies are classified as rare and one
characteristic they usually have are that when they first came out to the public, weren´t as
famous and well-received as they are now, mostly because of their potential and polemic topics
like the economy, war, society, etc.

strategy of the film club, focused on Comfenalco Quindío's community from ninth and tenth
grade.

and interest in people who are not even that interested in movies. Everyone can enjoy the films

each person through a film club. The project also wants to encourage the students to listen and to

He sees it as not only viable but necessary, because of its space that culturally enhances
knowledge for the students. In fact, he sees the cinema as a tool to develop sensibility in arts,
because of its components like literary textual or photography and audiovisual image. Moreover,
it mentioned the importance that should be proposed by the school regarding the film club,
because is an initiative for free discussion full of academy density, not only a hobby.
