Thirty years ago, people barely knew what a computer was.

A decade ago, you couldn’t buy a


plane ticket or book an Uber or order stuff online.
The past 10 years have brought us countless life-changing innovations, that we can refer to as the
greatest blessing to mankind. We have attained a great height in different fields that have been
possible because of technological developments. Today, our nation is equipped with enormous
defense capabilities. We have reached the moon and made lots of achievements in space
technology to date. But, we must not forget that excessive use of anything becomes Poison. The
same is applicable in the case of technology. No doubt it is a boon for us, but it depends upon the
way we are utilizing it. If we are making use of the technology in a limited manner, it will be
never a bane to us but can be a bane if used excessively or negatively. Technology’s disruptive
nature continues to transform our world.
A pleasant morning ma’am, a pleasant morning everyone. We are Group 2, allow us to discuss
our presentation with regards to the BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES OF TECHNOLOGY.
According to statistics, A total of 5.16 billion people around the world use technologies at the
start of 2023, which is equivalent to 64.4 percent of the world's total population. We cannot
imagine our world without technology. Today, it is one of the essential things that the world
needs. It helps make any work easier and helps us in multiple ways. Thus, just like a coin,
everything consists of 2 sides. It comprises of both positive and negative effects. Many people
use it for their growth, and some use it to harm society and the ecosystem.

So, we decided to delve a little deeper into the growth and usage of technology which rapidly
advanced in various areas such as medicine, healthcare, and welfare, which provide many
benefits to the number of people to achieve them, and increased focus on the potential of new
technology to meet society’s future needs.
For today, let us reflect on this question. “Is technology a boon or a bane?”
Before, we proceed in our lesson proper, let us welcome our Guest speaker for today’s seminar,
Mac Lester Leoncito to give us a short overview of our topic for today. Without further ado, let
us give a warm of applause to our guest speaker.
Thank you very much mac, for that very fruitful message. Let us now proceed with our lesson
proper, with each of our groupmates reporting about the BENEFITS AND CHALLENGES OF
TECHNOLOGY.
