Objectives of the course:
• To demonstrate the ability to apply fundamental concepts of statistical data analysis.
• To familiarize the students with various statistical data analysis tools that can be
used for effective decision making.
Course outcomes:
Upon completion of the course, the student shall be able to
CO1: Use regression and correlation analysis to quantify the strength of the linear
relationship between a pair of variables.
CO2: Learn the concepts of Multiple Regression to use the independent variables.
CO3: Study Statistical interface and hypothesis I.
CO4: Analyze and use hypothesis II and III.
CO5: Understand the concept hypothesis V.
CO6: Study hypothesis IV and use non-parametric statistics to discover the unknown
underlying distribution of the observed data.
