Replacement Parts for Flood-Damaged Equipment

1) After inspecting 7 machines at an HUL site, 21 parts across the machines were observed to need replacement including controllers, fans, motors, and other electrical components. 2) The parts were submerged in flood water for over 48 hours and Hyundai procedures require replacement of electrical and chip-based parts after long water contact as repair cannot be trusted. 3) Replacing the parts is necessary to ensure reliable machine operation and performance as repaired parts could cause issues with load distribution and output.

After the inspection of all 07 machines at HUL Rajpura site on dated 24-07-2023, below parts observed to be
replaced.

21. O|L-HYD 201 ,

All the above-mentioned parts were submerged in flood water for more than 48 hours and as per Hyundai
standard operating procedures once the electricai components, chip/PCB based components come in the
contact of water for long duration then replacement is the only option.

Repairing cannot be done because the reliability of the repaired parts will not be trustworthy.
It may cause
deviation in pgrameters of load distribution & output released by components which could fail the machine
operation or under-performance of the machine.

Hence, all the above-mentioned parts need to be replaced. After that machine function will work properly.
