V. RATIONALE

The Local Government Unit will be conducting Teenage Pregnancy Awareness on


September 2023. The awareness campaign aims to transform the community to actively
participate in the eradicating teenage pregnant in the community and for the total development of
the youth in terms of his/her physical, psychological and cultural aspect.

VI. OBJECTIVES

 Conduct lectures specifically barangays with highest cases of teenage pregnant.


 Strategically render activities that will enhance the knowledge and skills of our
teenagers.
 To develop their sense of responsibility to oneself by empowering the youth.
 To render a wholesome and spiritually centered personality.
 Promote a positive and healthy self-image, critical thinking, self-love, love to
family and others, and social responsibility among the youth.
 To promote social awareness on misleading groups that can increase their risk of
getting pregnant or impregnate other.

VIII. RECOMMENDATION

This program is needed for the youth in our municipality, to promote the development of
the youth and other disadvantaged youth to become responsible, self-reliant and socially
responsible citizens, able to contribute to the development of their family and community and to
carry out the goal of providing opportunities for youth in order to actualize their potentials and
aspirations, experience, self-fulfillment, contribute to the growth of the community and
participate I the tsk of nation building. We believe that the youth are the most vulnerable target.
It is the responsibility of the government to guide the youth in order for them to be on the right
track.
In this regard, the worker strongly recommends for the approval of this project proposal.
