Sample Answer
Nowadays, not having a social media account on any platform can be considered odd
or worse, orthodox, unless you are an elderly person. Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are
the examples of social media platform.
Honestly, although I use a lot of online platforms, my favourite is Facebook. It is my
first social media account. For your information, Facebook was created and developed by
Mark Zuckerberg for people to keep in touch with their loved ones and friends.
Firstly, Facebook helps people to get in touch virtually. People who live far from us
can share their special moments such as pictures by posting them on Facebook. Secondly,
Facebook is helpful when it comes to finding a person. We can just type in some details such
as name or alma mater, and we are able to find the person through mutual friends or the
search engine.
Personally, I use Facebook to make friends online. It is fun because my friends from
overseas can see my posts about places in our country and I can see theirs. Sometimes, we
chat using Facebook messenger too.
Overall, I can say that having an account on any social media platform in this age is a
necessity because it helps connect us to the world.
