The Graduation Standart
The implementation of the new graduation standart for High school students has evoked people to bring different responses. Some people are for the idea while some others are against the rules. Some people agree with the rule because it indicates student mastery of the whole material or the competence they have managed to have over the past three years. The result of the final exam is also significant for students future study in the higher level. In addition, we are far left behind by our neighboring countries that have implemented even higher graduation grade standart. If the standart is omitted, then students will get left behind even farther from the progress of those neighboring countries students. However, some other people believe that the standart will not be effective. The result of the exam tends to be manipulative since it is unreliable to measure students competence only in a couple of days. Smart students, for example, may get low grade just because of being unwell during the exam. On the other hands, idle students may fulfill the standart due to their being lucky of doing the multiple choice exam. There should then be an alternative way of testing students in the term of effectivity and efficiency. Despite of the different points of view that emerge, the government and the related party are intensely working on this matter in the hope of getting a better solution upon improving the High school graduates quality.

In some states, the law permits adopted persons who are at least 18 years old to see their birth certificates including the natural parents names. On the contrary, many adopted people worked to change the laws. They argue that people have a right to know their identity. They said that keeping secret their adoptions records violates their right. On the other hand many people feel adoption record should be kept secret. If not, natural parents might change their minds years later and take the child away from the parents who raised him or her. Some experts advise that a child should know of the adoptions by the age of 6 or 7. Surveys have shown that most adopted children develop normally.
