NISM-Series VIII Exam Admit Card
NISM disqualifies candidates found using unfair means such as cheating, forgery, and impersonation, and initiates appropriate actions under its policy. This may include prosecution and termination of the exam .
NISM prohibits the disclosure, publication, reproduction, transmission, storage, or facilitation of transmission or storage of exam contents in any form. This includes smuggling rough sheets out, taking photographs of exam questions, or any form of verbal or written transmission, electronically or mechanically, under unlawful conditions .
Issuing certificates based on the name in the Income Tax PAN Database ensures consistency and legal validity of the candidate's credentials. This practice minimizes errors and fraud while confirming identity, aligning with national citizen records .
Candidates are prohibited from carrying personal belongings such as books, papers, mobile phones, smart watches, fitness trackers, tablet PCs, cameras, and other gadgets. Only a pen/pencil and calculator are allowed inside the test area .
Candidates must carry a printout of their Admit Card and any original photo identity proof such as a PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, or Passport, or verified documents in Digi-Locker with the candidate’s photograph to the test center .

All physical papers, including admit cards and rough sheets, must be surrendered to the invigilator before leaving the test center. This prevents leakage of examination content and maintains the confidentiality and integrity of the exam process .
Candidates with improper photograph uploads may be rejected entry to the test area without any option for rescheduling .
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc is crucial as the workstations are equipped with these software. This requirement ensures candidates can navigate the functional aspects of data handling efficiently during the exam, reflecting real-life skills needed in securities markets and providing fairness in test conditions .
Apart from cheating and forgery, NISM enforces exam termination due to reasons like copying, impersonation, or any action deemed as malpractice during the examination .
