11 Yes, it make us hard to breathe, right now vaccine is not enough. We gonna

4 What are the activities that you do at home, can be considered as
5 moderate intensity physical activity? ( PAUSE)
6 Very good! Gardening, dancing and doing household chores are activities
7 that can be considered as moderate vigorous physical activity.
8 HOST: Because of this pandemic Covid 19, you are limited in doing physical

2 you experienced because of the threat of covid 19.
3 HOST: You may be bored but don’t worry, you can turn the things around you
4 into something that gives you self- gratification. There are many recreational
5 activities that you can do and enjoy. Any activity that takes place during your
6 free time is Recreation. Yes, you heard it right. Recreation is any activity
7 that take place during your free time. This is our lesson for this afternoon.

10 HOST: What is Recreation? (PAUSE) Exactly Right! Recreation is derived from the
11 Latin word “ “recreare” which means to be refreshed.
12 HOST: What are the two kinds of Recreation? (PAUSE) Very good, recreation can be
13 an active recreation or passive recreation.
14 Where do you prefer to do recreational activities? ( PAUSE)
15 Yes, It depends on you. Whether indoor or outdoor, on air or land.
16 What matters most is its holistic impact as a person.

6 draw sun.
7 HOST: What about Reading book? ( PAUSE) Yes, you must have drawn a moon
8 because it is passive. Next, Biking? ( PAUSE) Very good, you should have

10 HOST: Lets proceed to Activity 3: Draw a heart if the recreational activity is
11 done indoor and a star if it is done outdoor. Number 1 is Watching Tv.( PAUSE)
12 If you draw a heart, you are correct. What about Picnic? ( PAUSE)

1 HOST: Based on the activity, what type of recreational activities did you do with
2 your family during free time? Is it important to spend leisure time with them?
3 Having in touched with nature can give so much relaxation. Walking on green
4 grass or by just watching birds or early sunrise in the morning is unique
5 bonding time with your family. There are so many recreational activities that
6 you can do and enjoy with your family to develop strong and healthy relation-
7 ship with them especially this time of pandemic.

4 through water using the limbs. Aside from swimming we also have fishing.
5 What is fishing?( PAUSE) Nice one. Fishing is the activity of catching fish
6 from the sea or lake. Do you know what is bamboo rafting? ( PAUSE)
7 I agree, Bamboo rafting ,is the activity of traversing the rivers usually using a
8 raft made of bamboo. Aside from swimming, fishing and bamboo rafting,
9 can you give another aquatic recreational activity?( PAUSE) Good, we also
10 have surfing. Another one (PAUSE) Very good, we also have boating.

5 in our beautiful island or beaches. What else did you draw? ( PAUSE)
6 Hang out with friends? Picnic? Yes, these are possible!
7 Are you also planning a walk after the community quarantine?
8 How about a longer walk with your loved ones (family and friends)?
9 Have you explored the mountains? Caves? Forest? Or hidden falls near your

11 When quarantine is over, consider some outdoor recreational activities
12 that will bring you closer to nature. It is very relaxing and soothing.
13 But since we cannot do it now, due to covid, start making your own version of
14 recreational activities at home. Just be creative and innovative.
