II. Program Description:


In line with the CSC MC No. 03, s.2016 (Search for Outstanding Public Officials
and Employees), DepEd Order No.9, s. 2002 (Establishing the Program on Awards and
Incentives for Service Excellence-PRAISE), and DepEd Order No. 78, s. 2007
(Strengthening the Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence-PRAISE)
of the Department of Education the Luciano Millan National High School shall develop
and initiate the Search for deserving personnel who may be included in the nomination
and screening of candidates for awards.
Gawad Luciano Millan is an institutionalized award giving body of the school
designed to encourage the promotion of service and values oriented employees of
Luciano Millan National High School. Furthermore, it adheres to the principles of
providing incentives and awards regardless of age, appointment status, sex, civil status,
social status, race, ethnicity, religion, physical condition, or any other characteristics.

III. Objectives of the Program:


A. General Objectives:
Gawad Luciano Millan primordially aims to encourage, recognize and
reward employees for their outstanding performance, competence, commitment,
creativity, and exemplary behavior and leadership which have positively
contributed to the attainment of the school’s key performance areas.
Gawad Luciano Millan, through the institutionalized criteria, shall ensure
that no person is discriminated against nor any person is unduly favored on
account of his/her sex, age, civil status, physical characteristics and attributes,
religion, belief, race, family background, socio-economic standing and other
attributes that violate the principles of equality, equity and fairness.

B. Specific Objectives:
The specific objectives of Gawad Luciano Millan shall be as follows:

1. To establish a mechanism for identifying, selecting, rewarding and


providing incentives to deserving personnel who have exemplified

outstanding performance, competence, commitment, creativity, and
exemplary behavior and leadership;

2. To honor outstanding accomplishments as well as best practices of


employees on a continuing basis; and

3. To recognize and reward accomplishments and innovations of


teaching and non-teaching personnel periodically.

IV. Time Frame:

To ensure the smooth flow of the program, the Gantt chart will be followed.
