Satan targets and attacks the human heart, mind, and emotions. The mind is composed of the will, thoughts, and imagination, and is Satan's major battleground. A renewed mind focuses on things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and praiseworthy. It maintains four cornerstones: that God is always good; nothing is impossible with God; we fight from Christ's victory on the cross; and we are significant in God's eyes as new creations in Christ. A renewed mind thinks like Christ and is filled with God's word daily through meditation.

SATAN'S TARGET OF ATTACKS

1. Our most vulnerable parts that the enemy usually attack in our physical
body.

Our heart - Mark 7:21-23

Vs. 21 For from within, out from the heart of men proceed evil thoughts,
adulteries, fornications, murders,

Vs. 22thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceits, lewdness, an evil eye,


blasphemy, pride, foolishness,

Vs. 23 - All these evil things come from within and defile a man.

2. Our minds - (Greek - nous)

-the word used to describe the mental function of perceptions, under-


standing, knowing, feeling, judging, and determining.

-our mind is composed of our: 1. Will 2. Thoughts and imagination

3. Emotions

-our minds are Satan's battle ground, his major point of attacks.

Romans 8:6-7 - For to be carnally-minded is death, but to be spiritually- minded


is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity (opposition, unfriendly,
hostile) against God, for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.
Romans 12:2 - And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by
the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and
acceptable, and perfect will of God.

THE CONDITION OF A RENEWD MIND

A renewed mind always focuses on things that are true, noble, just, pure,
lovely, of good report, things that has any virtue and praiseworthy.

(read Philippians 4:8)


A renewed mind has maintained four (4) cornerstone of thought and atti- tude
that defines the culture of the Kingdom he has chosen to live in.

I. God is always good, no matter what circumstance we are in in this


life, we must always trust in the goodness of God for us.

(Psalms 118:1-14)

2. Nothing is impossible with God, and for those who believe in Him 100%.

Luke 1:38 - For with God, nothing shall be impossible.

Jeremiah 32:17 - ... there is nothing too hard for you.

3. We fight from the Victory of Christ. We don't fight to win the war; we just
impose Christ's victory on the CROSS! We are on the offensive place, not
defensive. We stand on Christ resurrection power and authority given to us as
His own chosen people.

Matthew 28:18-20 - And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All Authori-
ty has been given to me in heaven and on earth. God therefore and make
disciples of all nations..."

Mark 16:17-20 - And these signs will follow those who believe. In My Name
they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues... they will lay
hands on the sick and they will recover...

4. I am significant in the eyes of God. In Christ, I became a new creation, old


things have passed away and new things has come in my life - 2 Corinthians
5:17

EXHORTATION: - A renewed mind thinks like Christ - 1 Corinthians 21:16


Philippians 2:5 - let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. 2
Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of Power and of
Love and of a Sound mind. - A renewed mind is filled with God's Words on a
daily and continued basis. Joshua 1:8 - this book of the law shall not depart
from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night! That you may
observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your
way prosperous and then you will have good success.
