IMPROVED CLINCH KNOT
The Improved Clinch Knot is one of the most important knots to know in all of fishing. It is primarily used to
tie an anglers lures swivels and hooks to their fishing line. It is a strong and reliable knot, that can be tied
quickly for on-the-fly moments where you need to re-tie and get back fishing ASAP. This is one of my GO-TO
knots! I use this knot for my swim-baits, bucktails, topwater plugs and all sorts of other lures.

LOOP KNOT
A loop knot can be tied directly to the lure. This knot provides a loop which allows the lure to move freely
and naturally. Try this knot to improve your action on your lures. You can use this knot with bucktails,
swim baits, Sp Minnows and plugs!
1 1. Make an overhand knot in the line about
8-10 inches from the end.
2. Pass the tag end through the eye and back

or 6 times.

knot, entering from same side it exited from
before. Moisten the knot then slowly pull
the tag end to cinch the wraps loosely
together. Then pull the loop and the
standing line in opposite directions to seat
the knot.

LINE-TO-LINE KNOT
DOUBLE UNI KNOT
The double Uni Knot is great for joining together two fishing lines of approximately the same diameter. This
knot can be used with braided lines and mono-braided combinations. I usually use this knot to attach my
main line to my leader line. This knot is a two part knot, basically you need to tie two uni knots and slide
them together. It may take time to master, but practice this a few times a week and you will be good.
1. Overlap the ends of lines to be joined. Take
the end of the line from the left and double

back and make 3 to 4 wraps around both
lines and through the loop that was formed.

SPIDER HITCH KNOT
The Spider Hitch is easier, faster and stronger than the dropper loop and can be used for tying a quick high
low rig. The loop works great to hold sinkers and hooks.
1 1. Double your line over and make a loop.
Pinch with thumb.
2. Wrap tag end around your thumb at
least 3 times. Keep your thumb pinched.

I also use the improved clinch knot to attach line to a STRAIGHT EYE hook. Its quick and easy to tie, and
works well to hold hooks! I use the uni snell knot withr hooks that have the offset eye.
Straight eye
UNI SNELL KNOT
This method of snelling a hook utilizes the Uni Knot. Hooks tied with a Snell Knot provide an even,
straight-line pull to the fish. The uni snell knot is inteded for use on hooks with turned up eyes. Turned-up
eye hooks are utilized for live-bait snells.
1. Run line through the hook eye and down
shank of the hook. Form loop with the hook
