Expectations to NSTP Course

Upon reading the modules and being briefed about the course, I now think that NSTP100
will help me become a part of the youth able to serve my nation through the manner I opt to. The
NSTP course can make me an individual who would be able to adapt to different situations
concerning personal and national security. I believe that the course will promote awareness in
different areas. This subject will not focus on academics but how we will partake in our role as
human beings.

Previously, an essay focusing on our purpose as human beings. I think that NSTP will help
us figure out how we would fulfill our purpose here. This course will not be involved with
mathematics or sciences but will root from the civic consciousness that will be implanted in us. I
think the course will make us youths be able to teach us the Filipino traits we might have been
forgetting throughout the 21st century. Traits such as bayanihan, Filipino resiliency and the like
are now taken for granted by the youths. I expect for this course to remind us how we should be
ready for the country even at our age.

This course can also ignite nationalism to Filipino youths like us. This will tell us that our
country and our countrymen should be first. NSTP will help us understand that if one truly wants
to be of help, it is their country that needs them the most. There will be no other person who will
put the Philippines first other than its citizens.

In conclusion, I expect NSTP to help me realize my duties and responsibilities as a Filipino


citizen. I hope the course will also help other youths to realize the importance of being there for
their own country.
