BEAM Baseplates
‘An uptight frame has at east two (2) basepates used to
stablize and anchor the pallet rack to the floor. The size of
the baseplate is based on seismic forces and the loads
placed onthe pallet rack Engineers should check the
design to make sure the proper baseplate is specified for
the pallet racking
Shims
Shims are used to level the ack into plumb teerance on
warehouse concrete lors and should match te sizeof the
