2) Prior to Radiographic * Public Safety Proper Staging with Life Line for Radiographic if doing on
Operation elevated place.* Subcontractor shall provide advance Schedule
of the on planned activities to SECL.* Access Road to specific
exposure area shall becordoned off with yellow rope, radiation
warningsignboard and in warning light to be displayed
3) Handling of Personal Safety* Only approved personal with badge shall handle /operate
RadiographicMaterial Public Safety Radiographic projector.* The personnel shall always work
s with safetyprinciple of " Time shielding and distance"*
Monitor the dosi level with radiation survey meter * Ensure
that the specific exposure area is clearedof unauthorized
person and monitor the controlledarea to prevent unauthorized
entry
Completion of Source not return to Monitor the dosi level after retracting thesource into the
Exposure /Operation shieldposition projector.* Check the projector and ensure that the sourcehas
been returned and in locked position.* Ensure that the
radiographic equipment has beenremoved from site and inform
the safetydepartment and security on the work completion.
Movement within site * Lost of equipment* The radiographic projector shall never be leftunattended and it

radiographic unauthorizedhandling / requirements.* Radiographic projector when not in use, shall

projector from source pit (in/out)shall be recorded by PMC /
SECL approvedpersonnel.* Entry and handling shall be
permitted only byIOCL / EIL approved agency personnel
