Objective(s) students should be able to understand the meaning of the
words regarding to common health problems
students should be able to read and pronounce the vocabulary
correctly
students should be able to use sentences “How are you?” “I
am terrible, etc.” to describe some common health issues in
small talk situation
Time
Introduction/ 10’
Warm-up -Start the lesson by asking students the question one by one
How are you today?
Review the words of body parts
Lesson -Present a photo of a doctor and ask students the following 30’
questions:
1. What is the man’s job?
2. Have you ever been to a doctor? Why?
-Show students the new vocab list, and ask the question: Are there
any words that you’ve already known? If students know some words,
ask them to speak it out.
-Show the slide to the students and ask them two questions.

-Present the online exercise (activity 1) to students to practice these
words

Lesson - Present Health Problem (activity 2) 10’
- Ask students to fill out the blank while they are listening.
Lesson -Present the conversation (activity 3) to students 20’
- Read the conversation for students and ask students the following
questions: How is Jack? What is wrong with Jack?
-Ask students to practice the conversation with their partner
-Teach students how to answer and respond when you are sick.

-Present more pictures (activity 4)to students
-Instruct them to create new conversations with their partner
-Give feedback and correction when it is necessary
