Safety Notice
Please carefully read this instruction before the installation, operation, run, maintenance, and inspection,
and follow the contents of the instruction to properly install and operate this product.

Danger:
● Do not operate the contactor with your wet hands;
● Do not touch the energized parts during operation;
● Mark sure that the product is deenergized during the maintenance and service;

Caution:
● The installation, maintenance and service shall be performed by the qualified professional;
● Please confirm that the product voltage, current, frequency and usage category meet the requirements before
use;
● Please turn on teh control loop for no-load operation test, and then power on the load after no any
abnormality is found during test;
● Please tighten the terminal blocks regularly and remove the deposited dust;
● Do not allow foreign objects fall into the product:
● To purchase accessories, please select the matching accessories provided by our company;
● If found any damage or abnormal sound when unpacking, please refuse to use it and contact the supplier;
● When scrapping the product, please dispose the product waste properly. Thanks for your cooperation.
● It is not recommended to use main contact of contactor under the conditions of AC load capacity below
72VA or DC load power below 72W (such as direct control of PLC output). If the use under the above conditions
cannot be avoided, the auxiliary contact, the set of F4 auxiliary contacts, the JZC4s contactor type relay, and the
CDZ9 miniature electromagnetic relay provided with the product can be used for optimal effect.

Normal Operation, Installation, and Transport Conditions
● Normal Operation and Installation Conditions
(1) The ambient air temperature is not higher than +40℃, and is not below -5℃; the average value within 24
hours does not exceed +35℃;
(2) The altitude of the installation site does not exceed 2000m;
(3) The relative humidity of the atmosphere does not exceed 50% at the maximum ambient temperature of +40℃,
and a higher relative humidity is allowed lower temperatures, such as 90% at 20℃. Protective measures shall be
taken for condensation occasionally occurred due to temperature changes;
(4) The installation position should be vertical, and the inclination angle in each direction should not exceed
±22.5°;
(5) Installed in a place where there is no shock vibration for rain and snow intrusion;
(6) Pollution level: Level 3;
(7) Installation category: Class III;
(8) Rated impulse withstand voltage Uimp: 6000V;
(9) Rated frequency: 50Hz;
(10) Protection grade: IP20 (except for terminal block);
(11) Suitable for 8h working system, intermittent working system, uninterrupted working system, and short-time
working system.
● Normal Storage and Transport Conditions
(1) Temperature: -25℃ ~ +55℃, up to +70℃ in a short time (24h);
(2) Relative humidity: ≤95%;
(3) Please handle the product gently, do not upside it down, and prevent harsh collision during transport;
(4) The product shall not be affected by the rain or snow intrusion during transportation and storage.
Install product
● There are two methods for the contractor: screw-mounted and rail-mounted methods. CJX2s(K)-06~38 can be
installed on a standard 35mm rail, and CJX2s (K)-40~95 can be installed on a 35mm or 75mm standard rail;
before installation, check the rated voltage and frequency of the coil are consistent with those of the control power
supply before installation. Do not use damaged or poorly assembled contactor. The installation and disassembly
methods are illustrated in Fig. 2 and Fig. 3.

(1) Auxiliary contact
CJX2s(K)-06 contactor body has a pair of normally open or normally closed auxiliary contact sets,
CJX2s(K)-09~38 contactor body has a pair of normally open or normally closed auxiliary contact sets or a pair of
normally open and a pair of normally closed auxiliary contact sets, and CJX2s(K)-40~95 contactor body has a pair
of normally open and a pair of normally closed auxiliary contact sets. Main parameters are listed in Table 5;

The contactor can be equipped with an independent auxiliary contact module, and its model, specifications and
normally open and normally closed combination are listed in Table 6; the installation of FD6 is consistent with
that of air delay head, and the installation and disassembly method of FC6 is illustrated in Fig. 10 and Fig. 11.

(2) Air delay head


The contactor can be equipped with a SK4 (or FT6) air delay head to form a delay contactor, and its delay range is
listed in Table 7.

The installation and disassembly of the air delay head are illustrated in Fig. 12 and Fig. 13.
When installation: ① Align the chute with the contactor sliding rail;
② Push it down until the clutch is automatically inserted;
When disassembly: ① Lift the buckle upwards; ② Push it upwards along the chute for removal.

(3) The installation method of FR6 mechanical interlock is illustrated in Fig. 14. Among them, only steps ① to
④ are conducted for CJX2s(K)-09~38A, and the installation of fixed connecting plate is required for
CJX2s(K)-40~95A:
① Remove the dust sticker
② Install FR6
③ Install another contactor, as shown in figure.
④ Install the fixed module, as shown in figure.
⑤ Fix the two contactors with fastening screws, nuts and connecting plates, as shown in figure.

(4) Electromagnetic starter


The contactors can be combined with JRSIDs series thermal overload relays to form an electromagnetic starter.
Debugging and Operation
● Check whether the technical parameters of the product meet the use requirements;
● Please turn on the control loop for no-load operation test, and then power on the load after no any
abnormality is found during test;
● Do not allow foreign objects fall into the product:
● It is recommended to select SCPD according to type 1 coordinated protection, and the rated limit
short-circuit current Iq is 20KA (corresponding to the test voltage 400V); the models of its fuse are listed in Table
8.

Maintenance and Service


● Tighten the terminal blocks of contractor firmly on a regular basis, and remove the deposited dust, otherwise the
risk of fire or short circuit may occur;
● Small metal particles sprayed around the contactor or on the arc hood should be removed, and the contactor
shall stop when the contact surface is burnt until the base material is exposed.
Fault Analysis and Solution
