Currently, the logging of commercial leads is done manually in an Excel spreadsheet. This is difficult and time-
consuming to maintain and to track leading to delayed responses and missed opportunities .

Based on the analysis above, the recommendation of this paper is option 3. Buy a CRM Software, which not only
totally addresses the existing problem but also offer enhanced capabilities which will enable greater productivity
and control from the Commercial team, leading to a higher lead conversion rate. While the costs, resources and
risks implications are significant when compared with other options, so are the benefits which justify our
recommendation and are still within the range of known constraints.
