Summer Holiday Homework (Week 1)

Science (Only Answers)

Ans-1:
i) When two forces are applied on an object in the same
direction, forces added up and net force increases. The
object stays in the same motion.
ii) If two forces of equal strength act on an object in opposite
directions, the forces will cancel, resulting in a net force of
zero and no movement. When two unequal forces act in
opposite directions on an object, the net force is the
difference of the two forces.

Ans-2: a) Movement

Ans-3:
1) Group 1 is different from group 2 as resources will not exhaust
if used continuously in Group 1 while in Group 2 resources will
exhaust if used continuously.
2) Natural Gas
