Solution to Pollution

Monitor Industrial Pollution for a Safe Environment

Energy Conservation | Environment | Process Efficiency [Link]

Online Monitoring of Gas and Dust Emissions
Traditionally, the only available technique to continuously monitor stack gas
emission, was extractive. The 1990s saw an upgradation in design and
construction to direct on stack mounted analysers and in situ analysers for
continuous emission monitoring gained demand.
Forbes Marshall offers the latest techniques in in situ gas analysers, meeting all
Solution to requirements of Industry.
Non contact in situ cross duct type : Non contact opacity/dust density
Pollution monitors keeping in mind Indian industry's need to measure stack emitted dust
density in milligram/m³.
Dual beam single pass : The latest technology for the highest achievable
accuracy in opacity monitors.
No sampling system problems : Our range eliminates the need for sampling
systems and thereby avoids all associated problems.
Reliable continuous monitoring of flue gases : The hostile nature of flue
gas from fossil-fuel fired combustion processes makes flow measurement
difficult. Reliable, continuous flue gas flow measurement, possible only with
non-contact techniques, is required to compute total pollutant release. Our
analysers are equipped with IR flow monitors that utilise an infra-red correlation
technique which requires no contact with the flue gases.

With the rapid growth of Industry,

there is an alarming increase in
environmental pollution. Recognising
environmental issues as one of the
primary causes of disease, health
issues and long term livelihood impact
for all living beings, Central Pollution
Control Board has come up with
stringent norms to ensure that the air
and water pollution levels are
maintained well within the limits
prescribed by Ministry of Environment,
Forest and Climate Change/Central Monitoring of Pollutants in Industrial ETP, CETP, STP and River
Pollution Control Board. Industrial effluents can cause major damage to the environment around. It is
important to monitor and control processes that handle industrial effluents.
Forbes Marshall offers analytical solutions for industrial ETP and STP
applications that include on-line analysers for parameters such as pH, BOD,
COD and TSS.
With new products and solutions getting added on regularly, there is much
more than this that we can offer in terms of monitoring and controlling pollution
in the industries, leading to reduced waste water pollution.
You cannot manage what you do not measure, hence monitoring is a must

At Forbes Marshall, we realise our social and ecological responsibility and have come up with instrumentation solutions
for monitoring of flue gases and waste water / effluent in line with CPCB requirements.

Online Connectivity with enviroSENSE
ETP, flow and CEMS data anywhere, anytime

With stringent pollution board norms, industries have to provide their ETP, flow and CEMSs data online to the respective
pollution board severs. Therefore it is very vital for the user to monitor and control the effluents and emission parameters
very strictly.

Forbes Marshall's enviroSENSE software helps transfer the required data to the concerned pollution board servers and
send the same data to the designated users, to take immediate corrective action to adhere to the relevant norms.

enviroSENSE will help industries from all sectors maintain ISO standards such as 14000, 14001 and 50001. These
standards related to environmental management, help organisations minimise the negative effect of the processes on the
environment. ISO 14001 talks about the environmental management system (EMS), it maps out a framework that an
organisation can follow to reduce wastage, improve resource efficiency, drive down cost and to meet environmental
norms. Implementing and maintaining these standards also lead to an improved corporate image among regulators,
customers and the public vailability, productivity and efficiency.

As per the directions given by MOEF and CPCB, Industry needs to send online real time data transmission of Continuous
Emission Monitoring units (CEMs) as well as waste water quality analyser data to the central server, which is installed at CPCB,
Delhi, and to the State Pollution Control Board.
Forbes Marshall has installed a server at CPCB Delhi to take care of online data transmission from Forbes Marshall equipment
to the PCB server and the enviroSENSE is the perfect solution. To ensure regular maintenance and operation of the online
system, with tamper-proof mechanism, Forbes Marshall offers facilities for online remote calibration for stack gas analysers.
In addition to above we, can install the local viewing software at the central PC, which is useful to view logged data, view trends
and graphical and generate reports on site.
